This collection contains both the films from the OPEN SEASON franchise, an animated films centring on the adventures of two quite unusual forest heroes, Elliott the bear and Boog the deer.

Boog (Martin Lawrence) is a gentle and domesticated bear; Elliot (Ashton Kutcher) is an absentminded and accident-prone deer who has been shunned by his herd. Boog longs to return to the cushy conditions he had with Beth (Debra Messing), an animal-loving park ranger who rescued him and raised him as a pet from the time he was a cub. Desperate to please his new friend, who spared him from an overzealous hunter (Gary Sinise), Elliot tries to help lead Boog back to the mountainside town, but instead they are met with hostility by their fellow forest creatures, including a combative squirrel, McSquizzy (Billy Connelly); a perfectionist beaver, Reilly (Jon Favreau); and a machismo-fuelled deer, Ian (Patrick Warburton), who is Elliot's nemesis. Now, with hunting season upon them, they must all align to defend themselves against the hunters that annually plague their domain.

Following on from the fun-filled original, OPEN SEASON 2 continues the adventures of kind and caring bear Boog and his messy deer companion, Elliot, who, together, they struggle to adapt to the way of life in the wild. In this, their second adventure, Elliot falls in love with Gisele and intends to marry her. Unfortunately life isn't that easy in the woods and some complications ensue, as Elliot's new friend--the dog, Mr Weenie--is abducted by a troop of spoilt domestic pets on a mission to bring him back to his old owner...

Elliott the bear and Boog the deer.

Boog is a gentle and domesticated bear;
Elliot is an absentminded and accident-prone deer

I'm confused. Which one is which? :?

animation in 2 is really bad

Great Value for both films (yes film one is alot better than two) but for that price brilliant stocking fillers, shame we already have both at £9.99 each lol
