You are able to choose which software you wish to download/install

Voted hot but it's another typically obscure Open Source project - they want to make the software easily available; but don't have any description of what the software does...

If you click on the 'programs' link at the top of the home page- it takes you to a screen that has links to all the software & detailed descriptions of what the software does.

seems like a good idea, ninite is good but if you need to install it without internet this could be useful

not sure how providing open source windows software on a dvd educates users about linux. since it wouldn't be using a package manager (like that apt-get and emerge stuff) it would further alienate users from linux....

this is amazing....

I use ninite as well, but had a look at this and it seems to do the same thing, but without the choice

I love ninite pro where you can build your installer and then download it for offline installs, works a treat for push installs then

could I build 1 installer of my chosen programs for offline use, put on a usb stick then cancel the subscription? It would be really handy for me but i only fix the odd pc so dont want to sign up forever

simple, the idea is to get people using software that is available on linux, so the will not be a "but none of my software runs on it" barrier.

Voted hot, free and usefull software8)

That's brilliant! I use a lot of the software listed. A nice easy place to download all of it in one go.
