I was in the co-op this morning and the woman was updating the prices on the alcohol.
At first she thought it was a mistake, but the 70cl bottle of Opihr gin is half price down to £11 from £22.

Wasn't store mark downs or anything.... the woman had the printed barcodes and was changing the alcohol prices. I just happened to be standing beside her as she was changing this one...... even she was surprised at the deal.
I actually didn't buy any..... although my wife drinks gin I've heard this stuff tastes like curry, not sure that's something she'd like
None, because the deal doesnt exist
Sorry but that made me laugh
Well it would, because you got at least one HUKD member on a wild goose chase ..... do you really expect us to believe you happened to look in the booze cupboard whilst buying a freedo frog ans noticing this, but not actually buying any ..... year right
At least we've manged to avoid that inevitable, sulky "they never have these deals up here in Scotland " post
Errrm it's not my deal.
I didn't get one.
Maybe you need to read things properly or phone people up first?
Just a thought.
Have a nice day. X
I personally really like Opihr but it's pretty niche as gins go and will more likely be held in specialist shops or larger supermarkets rather than the Co-op who could end up with dusty bottles of this.
Also some "stoorie midori"
I think i'll take a wee trip there on the way home tonight, did they have many bottles?
A £23 GIN named Opihr topped a Good Housekeeping Institute test. None of the top eight London dry gins was a supermarket own brand. Joint ninth were gins from M&S, Tesco and Asda with Aldi’s £9.99 Oliver Cromwell 13th.
