Buying from HumbleBundle (Registered re-seller) also gives the option to give the devs or a charity a slice of the purchase price. I give the charity the full amount so nothing goes to the developers. There is nothing wrong with G2A, yes some scumbags sell stolen keys the same as Ebay. Good call on G2A, great price.

What is wrong with reselling a bundled code ? The Devs will of been paid to begin with , do you also feel the same way about people reselling used games ?

Not at all calling all G2A sellers thieves. But this game at this price can only be one of two two things - a bundle resale or stolen - none of which support the developer.

That is a broad statement, so you are calling all G2A key sellers ,thieves ? Not nice and can you prove your allegation?

I guess it depends on whether you want to support the resale of stolen keys or an officially sponsored publisher sale. If you have no morals and don't care about the publishers making the games - then sure, head over to G2A!

Game is severely crippling on any type of hardware. Getting it to run is a miracle in the first place. It could have been the game version I suppose.

R9 390, 16gb ram, i7-4790... I don't know what was causing the bad FPS for me, can't imagine it's a hardware limitation.

What specs do you have? I recall playing the game on a 960 with version of the game and there were only a few moments the game dropped below 60 for me.

I managed to get it to work on win 10 with the workarounds (google is your friend). However, the framerate was atrocious and made it unplayable for me... Would pick it up on xbox or ps if you can instead.

Any guides to get this to work on Win 10 other than reverting back to 7?

Very useful if you're building a PC, or if you just want to upgrade! They also have Windows 7 Professional for £9.32 and Windows 8.1 Professional for £10.23

I have a few of these W7 etc keys all good from http://www.opiumpulses.com/store/1259/windows-10-professional on a .pvm Hope nothing illigal is going on if so should be reported to mod (or owner of site).

Brilliant. I'll get on to this right away. Just sitting in my car now waiting for that old dear in the Micra to finish parking so I can smash her window and steal her blue badge.

Windows 10 is still free to everyone directly from Microsoft. It is free to anyone who requires the additional assistive features for people with disabilities. These features can then be removed after installation leaving a legit copy of Windows 10.

You can change as many times as you wish, its easier to do it though xbox.com & just a case of changing the language at the bottom left of the screen. No one has been banned yet for doing it but not sure i would put my whole xbox account at risk of a ban for this game.

can you advise exactly how to do this? Also, can I do this an infinite number of times back and forth? Does it change my XB1 UI to be in Japanese when I boot the console or is it all done via xbox.com? Thanks

Every now and then, when a game's not released in Japan they get a different one.

Thanks. I got worried the first time round when it wanted to verify my account, but I had no idea what it was asking for, chrome wasn't translating that part.

For anyone interested just noticed that Opium Pulses have 1100+ Windows 7 licenses back in stock - bit more expensive though, currently $15.71 which equates to £12.45 (though part of this will be due to the fall in the pound) I bought a couple last time round for laptops I was refurbishing (worked fine inc upgrade to W10 though i had to activate them by the phone method)

hi is there a more straightforward way to download this what do i do? thanks seems very complicated with all this torrent stuff

I was an technical preview tester months before the Windows Insider release. It went through many builds with options being added, removed, and changed. Microsoft actively got feedback from testers and adapted it during development. Personally I am quite happy with the final product that has emerged, it is quicker, slicker, more user friendly and makes my job a hell of a lot easier. Most of my supported SME's have either totally migrated or have a cross section of Windows 7/8.1 and 10. More often than not the feedback I receive is very positive and users would not move back once they are trained correctly about the features it offers to increase their productivity. One thing I can tell you without a doubt is that your average business user doesn't give too hoots to what OS the computer runs, so long as it lets them do their job without hassle. The people who pick fault with the Windows app store on the desktop version of Windows... well, anyone can work out the issue there. Desktop Windows has more apps than you can shake a stick at, maybe try the alternative app store that you used on Windows 7, you know the one, is called Google, where you can search for even more new programs that edit your dog pictures to make it look like their smiling at you. Oh and that still works fine on Windows 10. ;) So I guess its apples and pears, like anything in life, choice is key, use what you want. But I remember the same discussions happened when Windows 98 and Windows 7 came out, people were naysayers and evangelised that Windows 95 or XP was better. Some people hate change, human nature. But anyways, back to this deal... dubious at very best. But with Opium Pulses not being an authorised Microsoft OEM seller, more likely than not breach of copyright, will it work? Yes. If a business used one would it stand up in a court of law in a copyright infringment case? I doubt it. Just chill and take it easy, use a flavor of Linux if you dare! :D Regards Flea

nothing wrong with windows 10 - its a great OS - i would like to see a list of specific faults from the whingers (no doubt i'll get one) the shambles (on some genuine W7 installs) is the upgrade procedure from 7 to 10 - its a total joke - hanging on 99% download / hanging on "checking for updates" etc

thanks for that not your fault but not straight forward and i have never heard of all theses things if I follow the sequence I should be alright then cheers

I reckon at least six of these were my old man's machine, and yours truly has had to in uinstall on each occasion! Thank goodness "free" upgrading is coming to an end, however I fear an extension is every bit as unlikely as a sale at DFS.

This is the UK government's take on it https://www.copyrightservice.co.uk/copyright/uk_law_summary

This is Microsofts take on it "With Windows 10, although nongenuine PCs may be able to upgrade to Windows 10, the upgrade will not change the genuine state of the license. Nongenuine Windows is not published by Microsoft. It is not properly licensed, or supported by Microsoft or a trusted partner. If a device was considered nongenuine or mislicensed prior to the upgrade, that device will continue to be considered nongenuine or mislicensed after the upgrade." mike

wow, in the time it took to write that you could have googled the answer and copied and pasted it here, but instead you felt sarcasm was more appropriate. cheers

...quite quickly resolved and they refunded me the money...

Yeah it's not very reliable, I've been able to play it some since I picked it up a couple of weeks ago, however it does regularly crash and only the fact it saves regularly really rescues it. I think I may just about manage to finish it eventually, but it is a real pain in the backside and it's ridiculous they haven't been able to get it running reliably at this point given it's not a massive departure from the previous arkham title.

Definitely caveat emptor on this one, while it's better than it was at launch, it's still pretty hit and miss for a lot of people and overall a mess.

Doesn't deserve your money. Very dissapointing effort to port to PC from the developers and it doesn't even seem like they care. I would genuinely recommend pirating it first to see if your PC can handle it.

Just upgraded one of my Laptops to W10 as deal ending soon and thought have a look now it has had some service packs. !! BEWARE !! the whole exercise including numerous failed downloads took 40 hours! Was stuck on the 99% install progress point for 20 hours alone before it finally progressed and then another 2 hours widdling about as is Windows install practice. End result - everything works but dear God is an ugly ugly interface... My Atari ST looks cooler!

Can't believe I missed this!

Hi, Has anyone on here been able to successfully register their Win-7 bought from Opium Pulses with Microsoft please? Also where exactly can an OEM version (again that successfully registers with Microsoft) be downloaded from please as Opium Pulses aren't being very helpful. Far from helpful tbh. As for PayPal they did not want to know when the transaction was disputed further to being told the product offering was far from 'legit' as Microsoft refuses to allow for successful product registration. Credit card charge-back needed from what's been gathered. Avoid - Avoid - Avoid.

Not really - cdkeys.com and many other places typically do the same.

Unusual way of giving you your Steam code. They email a picture of it. Means you have to type it in rather than copy/paste. But it worked. Thanks OP

Worth playing as the next one is due out this year.

this was on March's Humble bundle for £8.** recently

Judging by the guy who posted this deal and other previous deals on here from the same company I would say it's probably fine. Granted, the site and reviews look moody but that's the risk you take. Thousands do it every day with G2A etc... CDKeys has it going for a little bit more, but for their price it's still a good deal. http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/south-park-the-stick-of-truth-pc-cd-key-steam
