I've asked vodafone head office to remove compulsory top up still waiting for a reply. Just feel they want to rob me out of £10 everytime I buy a payg phone from them. I've noticed no one else does it. So should be illegal (edited)

You would be hard put to find a decent 5G handset like this at this price point, that's what I think anyway. 🔥

Bought this in May, was really happy with it coming from a Reno Z that I didn't like all that much. I had 3 weeks of enjoying the phone, then the ColorOS 12 update came out and it turned the phone into a steaming pile of dogs##t!
It literally feels like as if I switched to some 2014 phone with a gig of ram in it. (in fact, my 2016 galaxy S7 feels 200% quicker than this now) After unlocking the screen the phone lags ridiculously, everything is just slow and happens with a delay. I now can't remember if the tilt sensor was always this bad or is also the result of the ColorOS 12 saga, but unless you violently flip the phone to make it realise you've picked it up, it doesn't show you notifications unless you unlock the screen with the button (which is great since all assh##le manufacturers stopped putting notification lights on phones because why not?! They released another software update about a month ago, which DID bring back some of the speed but not even half of what was initially lost.
I know I should have factory reset it to try and see if that helps, but the amount of hassle that would be, I'm genuinely scared that I'd 100% smash up the phone if it remained the same afterwards, so I'm likely just going to switch at some point.

I bought the moto g31 last night, besides the obvious 5g of this oppop is the Oppo a much better phone,I may send the moto g back if so,mind you I've come from another moto g so perhaps the familiar near stock android will suit me better on the g31 as I'm not great with change (edited)
