Had one for 2 days, sent it back as I couldn't get on with the FPS, was an in screen jobbie, apparently color is has much improved recently.
Just reading the reviews and what gets me is that one of says that it does not come with Google Play store and downloaded causes problems using the keyboard and instructions reverts to Chinese..

Where are you reading the reviews, as this is the uk/global Version and comes with Google Play and UK warranty

PAFM00 is the Chinese version.
Absolutely crazy price for that beast. Just updated to Android 9 sorting out some bugs. Its a shame its not the SuperVooc version.

yes, that is not the latest, agree

I think he’s suggesting it’s a lot of money for an obsolete SoC, which it kind of is really. 855 has been out nearly a year already by this point and the Find X has been out just under a year and a half, would have expected it to be much less than this.
£400 for a 845 is really steep considering a reno 10x with a 855 is a mere £50 more

Exactly. Or the Realme X2 Pro for £341 with an SD 855+. It’s not just the chip, and there’s nothing wrong with the 845 but it’s a lot of money if you are after a flagship handset to not get the latest.

I was comparing no notch to no notch but the x2 pro is extremely good value for the price although the 8/256 variant of is more about £400 which is still excellent
Have an oppo (rx17 pro) and I love it. Latest colourOS update improved it a lot. Used a oneplus before but I m pretty happy with the oppo now. Very similar (same parent company after all).

I was thinking of getting this too. The fast charging is very tempting and it's gone down in price now. Though only a SD 710 and seems stuck on Android 8? But probably best phone available for the price no?

My phone is on android 9. I used a vpn and updated the colourOS the week I got it. It might not be the latest SD but it is fast and if you are normal user (not an extreme gamer) this phone is more than enough. Camera is good and the colourOS is sleek so you are very close to stock android. Charging is amazing. 30 min and it is fully charged
