Considering the phone retails for £1100 its a good deal

Essentially £5.60 a month for 20gb Data, however is this phone really worth £1100 when phones like the Oneplus 8 Pro exist for cheaper? OPPO sure has a nerve trying to charge Samsung prices for a unknown brand in the West

Man this phone looks amazing
When you break it down , its actually a great deal , top quality phone on par with latest samsungs , phone is worth over £1000 , great headphones worth over £200 , then 20GB isn't huge but you are with the best and fastest provider about .
Now I think the issue its cold is the phone is not manufactured by a popular brand .
Agreed I think this is HOT op

Uses the same camera sensor as the Oneplus 8 Pro, the Sony IMX 589 although im not sure how OPPO's camera processing is but it does seem to have good photos from reviews, however I would still rather take a OP8 Pro for a lower cost with OOS as well, a skin i would much rather prefer over ColorOS.

Although i wouldn't pay this much for a phone anyways (lol), happy with my £280 9T Pro
Rip off

Yes I know, it doesn't change the fact this phone is very expensive

The oppo and OnePlus share the same camera sensor, display. They are manufactured in OPPO plants and both company have their HQ's in the same building

They've long abandoned blu ray players, they mainly focus on midrange phones in Asia and now Europe

Bought from O2 website for 929, 21 a month contract for air time, monthly rolling. Worst case it's 950 for the phone. Possible free Disney plus for 6 months too. Plus free headphones of course. I'll find a SIM only deal in August when my current deal runs out. And wow phones are causing strong opinions. I like the phone so I bought it. I think it's good for what I am paying. I'll sell the headphones through social media for 170 easily. Then I'll sell my p30 pro for whatever the going rate is... Hopefully the cancellation of the O2 airtime is straight forward. One plus 8 pro is very similar, but the 256gb is 900 pounds SIM free. Take off the headphones and your at around the same price. Though the oppo is 512gb. I once owned a Reno 10x zoom and it was excellent in some respects. Really excellent.

How? Existing customer type thing?
40978099-7Iu2m.jpgJust through their website. Not existing customer. 4 week delay quoted now but I've had confirmation you are still eligible for headphones providing you preorder.

Looking at this phone, but the contract prices are pretty steep. There's also the standard Find X2 which by the looks of it differs mainly in the camera department and storage. It has the same screen, same soc etc

With 02, the device part is 769.

If you pop in £80 upfront, the contract is just over £40 per month. For contracts over £40, you are getting £95 topcashback just now.

Then there's the free headphones with this one too - should be able to sell them for around £200.

So with the £200 for the headphones and the £95 topcashback, it brings the phone cost to around £470. You can just pay the device part off, cancel the airtime plan and then get a better sim only deal. That's a great price for an sd865 flagship with qhd 120hz screen

I just got a OnePlus 7t which I'm mostly happy with. However, the screen looks so dull compared to my previous mate 20 pro...given the cost of the standard OnePlus 8 works out more than this, think I'm gonna for it.

How do you pay the device part of and cancel the the airtime plan? Just contact them and they work out the phone cost to pay off?

The phone cost is all set before you buy it - it's showing at 769 and the pro just over 900 (so already a couple hundred off the rrp). You can pay the device off anytime online. Once paid off you can cancel the airtime.

Ah with you. Good to know. In the market for a new phone and wanted the OnePlus but leaning towards this now.
Cheers
Anyone know if you can use NHS discount code for the monthly cost part if purchased through mobiles.co.uk?

You won't get the cashback if you cancel the contract air time. I've checked. O2 deal isn't that bad at all for the X2 pro at 929. 30 tcb and headphones make it about 700 if you sell the headphones.

Not planning on cancelling until I've got and sold the headphones... by that time the cashback might be through.

Looks like the validation period for pay monthly cashback is 6 months.
This phone is £1,099, therefore this whole contract is only £136 for a two year plan with B&O headphones... yes this is being voted cold? Lol.

Heat OP, very good deal if you are looking at buying this phone.

O2 refresh messed me around right up to today promising delivery finally today, only to not get anything in the time specified, tracking says returned to sender, and now O2 have said they will refund me in 7 to 10 days after they get the phone back from DHL. 929 pounds down for a while and no headphones for me. O2 won't get a penny off me ever again
