While researching this on very the other day and calling them today i still cant confirm its the actual 8gb ram with 256gb as the description for the black and green versions are different as product description says 6gb ram but tech specs says 8gb ram.
People on the phone in south Africa was useless and clueless when i tried get confirmation on specs and version.

What worried me about this lot is when you get to shipping the option for regular shipping takes a good few weeks ,this made me think its getting drop shipped from china so would not be the UK version, next day delivery was an option too so looked a bit odd to me so i looked them over.

This or the Samsung Galaxy A70 for £296?

The Samsung does have slots for 2 SIM AND an SD card while with this one you have to choose between SD and a second SIM right?

Both Very's are definitely the 6Gb versions, as their EANs match the Argos 6Gb ones.

You should be able to find A70 for less, this has better build & design, better all-rounder, worse software, better camera, but if you plan on using camera often Motorola Zoom would be best choice at similar price point

Really good phone and British Made too so you are asured of quality and solid warranty.

So far it is the cheapest I could find, you never know by tomorrow though...
I am torn between those 2 basically because of the expandable slot being available, cause I do need it to be dual SIM for sure, 265gb would last a while but I would still like to have the option when the time comes

How is QC with these ones? I have seen good reviews but it is a lesser known brand, at least for me

It seems they got fundamentals right with this model (not so sure Samsung did with A70), warranty/repair support even better than sister 1+, hope software support as good. I frankly think 256gb is generous, DK about dual/hybrid sim, cloud storage costs same as half a latte pm

You can buy dual sim flexible adaptor on ebay that allow you to use 2 sims and a SD at the same time,it just slides into the sim tray and hangs out the side of the phone which will be covered if you have a cover on your phone, which practically everyone does.Google it as it sounds mad but is in act simple and genius

Its usually only the 6gb versions sold in the UK,Chinese and Asia have the 8GB thats what stopped me buying it from them,i used them before for PC's and was no issues but i do not want a Chinese version of a phone as made that mistake with the redmi note 4. Notice there on a 0871 number too which is dodgy as you cant ring them free to get clarification.

Yes, you can ring them on a Yorkshire landline, their CS is actually good, dealt with them in the past, they only sell fully UK-supported models by manufacturers, plus offer their own warranty on top, that you can extend if you wish, just check this forum's threads, plenty of deals by them, no problems

No, it must be global version, LD would not sell a Chinese rom - if I hear it from them I'd believe it, it'd be a first, sorry

They wouldn't even flash a global version on top of Asian themselves, they're official UK suppliers of all brands, there must be a mistake in listing

I did ask them if they was opened and flashed and they said no, just weird as no one else in UK sells the 8gb that's officially uk/universal rom.
