Oppo Reno 5g 10x Zoom (Used, Pristine) - £174 with code @ The Big Phone Store

Got most of ne some time ago. Display is actually slightly curved but only a touch. Great camera but oppo will not release any more updates for it. And there are no custom roms for it. So andriod ten is what you get that said if your OK with then then great phone.

This was top of my list for a long time - great price OP

I purchased the non 5G version of the 10x Zoom in Augiust this year for £199 (new) and that has received Android 11 (Colour OS 11.1) so if you can live without 5g then that is worth considering. I bought for the cameras which are far superior to those on my Samsung Galaxy S10e.

Someone help me out please, is this good?

I think the 5G version is on Snapdragon 855 while the non 5G version is Snapdragon 710. Plus the former seems to have a slightly bigger battery.

It's an excellent phone. I tried swapping to the s20 ultra and honestly swapped back within a day. What you want to know about it.

Both the Reno 5g and Reno 10x Zoom use the Snapdragon 855, while the Reno uses the 710. gsmarena.com/com…676

Well as a daily driver I would lose access to my banking apps so not really practical

Is there a single Snapdragon 855 phone with 5G modem updated to Android 11?
Looks like Qualcomm charges extreme fees to suppy a license and/or drivers.

I installed Lineage OS on my ancient OnePlus One and didn't lose access to anything.

Last time I used LineageOS it was rooted by default and the HSBC app refused to work point blank(not on this phone)
So is it not rooted now or the apps don't care ?

It basically was brand new just with the box not sealed.

Odd as the 10x zoom (non 5G has android 11) and that does use the SD855 - just doesn’t have the 5G modem.
