Stick a launcher over the top. Problem solved.

Or flash stock

How would you do that, considering the phone has very little to no dev support
A shame it's not the 5G version, else would have snapped it up!

5g is still another 1-2 years till it's fully utilized around the UK. Plus it only has a short range ideally need to be around a 5g tower which won't be the case necessarily. Don't hold your breath

Skin/custom os consists of different launcher, background, framework (settings menu), drop-down tiles, sounds, multi tasking layout etc etc. A new launcher only solves part of the problem as the rest cannot be changed!
Oppo's Twitter doesn't have very many followers so I've said to them it needs Oxygen OS to sell in UK. Hopefully hasn't fallen on deaf ears.
I'd stick to a brand with a track record..... Xiaomi
Wow, brilliant price, heat applied

They will never put Oxygen OS on an Oppo phone. OnePlus needs something to differentiate itself from their sister companies and Oxygen OS is exactly that.

I'd have it then definitely
I got the 5g version 8gb ram and 256gb storage. It really is an incredible thing. I previously had a p30 Pro and it really does match or out perform in so many ways. The battery management on the Huawei is far superior though. I'm looking to shift mine on already though as I made a mistake thinkinh it was dual sim. The 5g version is not dual sim. Be warned everyone! Also it appears nobody wants to buy it off me for very cheap! And I mean very cheap!
5g can't seem to be had sim free typically either.. Anyway...

I'll buy for £300 if you are desparate to get rid, as long as it's not on contract.

Fair enough, I know it was crazy low but just a bit cautious spending a lot in case phone gets blocked in the future (not saying you are a scammer but still have to be careful with everyone). I can see your post on FB, looks legit but don't live anywhere near anyway.
