It's a lovely looking phone but having owned an OPPO a few years back I hope the OPPO support is better now.

Now they have entered the UK the support sounds very decent. They have a partnership with iSmash, you can walk into any iSmash store and get official warranty repairs from Oppo there.

I think it is fantastic, one of the best warranty processes available. Only Samsung and Apple beat that with their own stores. I hoped OnePlus would offer the same as Oppo's sister company but unfortunately they are postal only, surprisingly Huawei are too.

Xiaomi's warranty process is a complete mess, so complicated from what I've seen people complain about. Apparently they have to send you a jiffy bag for you to send the phone back in, pointless.

I purchased this from CPW at launch. This is a great phone for the price, had never used the operating system before but I like Color OS. The screen is beautiful and stereo speakers plus Dolby Atmos are a great addition. The 4GB of RAM is a strange one given other countries get 8GB RAM, so not sure what the logic is there. I's say all in all this is a cracking phone for the money

I forget who they use now, but they aren't the greatest anyway, they are also used by EE and a couple others.

What's the camera like compared to say a P30 pro?

Btw. I mean't support as in updates etc? I had the phone 2 years and received 1 update.

I'm not a professionalI but found the camera to be great for my needs which is mainly just everyday use. I'm not sure anything can compare to the P30 Pro other than a Pixel from what I've seen though. I returned the phone as I had already ordered a Mi 9t which is fantastic. I couldn't pass comment on updates as don't often own phones long enough for this facility

So is the camera good on the Mi 9t as the other half is due an upgrade and I'm not impressed wither her usual choice SAMSUNGS prices.

To be fair, if it has a Dark mode, then I'm a fan

The camera is great, but the phone in general for £250 is incredible and that's the 6Gb 128GB version. I love the full AMOLED screen and although the processor isn't a flagship it does everything I need it to do. I'm not a gamer and don't really do selfies so it's ideal for me. Two day battery is the norm as well. Everyone who's seen it so far can't believe the spec to price ratio.
It's going down faster than Huddersfield town !!

I can relate to this with xiaomi.

Returned a phone as a change of mind since I just didn't like it that much. They insisted on sending me a jiffy bag.

It arrived, it was too small. I just cut the label off and put it in a small box.

It goes to EE repair centre.

They left me a voicemail 2 weeks after receiving it asking me for my proof of purchase to start the repair (lol what).

Rang them back, seems the xiaomi department is one or two people there. Front line staff take forever to do anything and put you on hold for stupid amounts of time.

They answered zero questions just saying "I don't know" for everything. I emailed them the receipt as that is all they could tell me. No clue why they'd need it when it was a change of mind and they arranged the whole thing.

They refunded me like almost 2 weeks after that minus about £10. I guess for the jiffy bag and label that they gave me no option over, couldn't be bothered to argue and waste an hour plus of my life trying to get through to them and being placed on hold etc.

The fact the Jiffy was too small is ridiculous, what is the point?! Just let people print out their own prepaid returns label. With change of mind returns they force you to use their own label and deduct around £5 if you buy from mi.com, I wanted to return something once but because of the idiotic returns process I sold it on instead. Xiaomi really needs to improve its delivery and after sales experience to do well in the UK.
Has anyone seen the one with the second screen on the back !? *thought was an Oppo but it's a ZTE

From what I can tell, the 64GB Mi 9T from Amazon.es is ~329EUR or ~£299 at the moment, so this is cheaper and has double the storage. Is there an offer available from somewhere as I can't seem to find one?

The reno Z does have 128gb at this price which is quite nice although it could be slower emmc storage compared to the faster UFS 2.1 used by the 9T although I can't find sources on that yet.

If someone doesn't need more than 64gb (like me, I have a 128gb phone with 33gb used) then the 9T would be a better offer.
