Maybe it's time to work on the muscle in your head.

My IQ is astonishingly high and I feel working on my intelligence further could lead to the capability of superpowers. It's a scary thought so for this reason I will have to ignore your advice.

Not enough weights here for me, cold.

Nice find. Anything to get the fat Lumps up and moving is a good thing.
Welcome aboard @Kenshi ! A relatively small amount of money to improve your shape and health has got to be a bargain!

Doesn't look bad for someone starting out, depending on goals. You can get a lot out of a little weight if used in the right way. If you want something more then the cast iron weights are the way to go imo. Cheers for your first post @Kenshi
Thankyou for the comments guys! @NeoTrix@smallsteve@finnmaccool

The old dumbbells were getting pretty tired, I'm not looking to get too bulky so these are great! They sure can go a long way if you are dedicated enough. I agree cast iron are the best, having said that I just assembled these right now and they feel pretty solid steel bars of course so not bad at all!!

Go on, new year new you
Heat added, could do with new weights instead of piling it on.

I know what you're saying.
I could lift that weight with my D+++ when Theresa May or Nicola Sturgeon appear on TV

Wish I was built like He-man.
I was going to upgrade my set a few years ago, but ended up picking up some 50 lb resistance bands for a couple of quid each off Amazon, and haven't used weights at home since... I still use weights at the gym, but the bands have been such a space saver, and I can take them on holiday / to work with me. So much versatility for something so portable.

You can't get bulky by accident. It takes time and hard work. It is by no means easy.
Cast iron set is 69.99

I am waiting for the Aldi ones to come available, but their bars screw together and I am not sure I would trust it.
The thing you want to check, is do they lock on tight, the last thing you want is the weights spinning or moving!
