Really good reviews, plenty of stock about also

The Opti set is the ideal starter baseball kit and includes a bat, ball and glove. It gives you a 25inch wood baseball bat with a traditional black handle and modern wooden barrel. The glove included is a 10inch high grade vinyl for right handed throwers only. The set is completed by a soft core safety baseball - ideal for practise - with rubber core centre and synthetic leather for the look of a real baseball.

  • Made from wood.
  • Manufacturer's 1 year guarantee.

Always a good idea to keep these things in the boot as being able to reach objects from the drivers seat can be misconstrued. ......
The UK only has 74 baseball teams and 1,500 players in the entire country. Ball and glove sales reflect this. However bat sales are much larger. Hmm..
It's just not cricket...
If you are stopped by police with bat in car you could be charged for carrying offensive weapon . However if ball is there too then it's not

OK for this,im going to stop ordering goods through this site , I have made too much money for you over the last 10 years
Been after a fair priced bat and ball for ages.

Picked up my daughter a cool pink glove for £6 and a two pack of hi viz practice balls for £6... So it's a cheap way to get into it.

BS. A baseball bat is not classed as an offensive weapon unless being brandished (waved aggressively) in a public place. The only time you could be charged would be if you intended to, or already had, used it in a criminal manner.
Is this a full size or a smaller one?

Saw a real life police program on TV, they stopped a motorist and on searching his car found a baseball bat. They charged him with carrying an offensive weapon although the mans excuse was lame.

Maybe the police suspected the motorist of criminal intent, maybe he threatened the police, maybe the police were just plain wrong. Doesn't change the fact that under normal circumstances a baseball bat is not classed as an offensive weapon.

That's why you always keep a ball with the bat.
It's just not cricket...

It's a short length and light, it's pretty much a kids bat. Not sure it'll be that suitable for anything other than knocking a soft, light ball around.

A ball and glove plus bat should be OK under the law but you may have to explain why the bat is showing no signs of use and you have no clue how baseball is played. Just being devils advocate incase someone finds themselves in a tricky situation with the law. The police have to prove that it was being carried as a weapon and not as sports equipment. They may well ask when you last played, who with and where. It also depends on the Police force and the local crime levels. I can see a prosecution barrister asking awkward questions and depending on your age, previous history and other circumstances a jury may well convict.

I'm sorry, that's a myth banded around for years.
It depends on the situation that's occurring .
Why would the average person carry a baseball bat (and glove/ball) in there car unless A) they played baseball or B) had intentions of using it in a non appropriate manner ? :/
Wouldnt a hocky stick be more cheaper?
