I get cold easily
Best Value for Money. Cheapest the 2.2kg tubs usually are, are around £32-£35.

How do you get the student discount? I have Prime Student but couldn’t see anything additional come off at checkout?
MyProtein much better, even from scientific tests. They are also cheaper.

Precisely.
Ahh thanks. That came up for me too. Wasn’t sure if that was including student discount or not, as I don’t have the promotions applied section underneath.

Thanks.

MYproteins isolate is currently the same price as this. The isolate would be the comparison with this. I personally prefer myprotein

Hate the taste though.
I'm a little iffy about buying stuff like this and fragrances off Amazon after reading some reviews. Can anyone that's bought from this seller confirm they are genuine?

Just a pity it tastes so bad. This stuff tastes great and doesn't give me gut ache. Hate IBS.
As much as I'd like to go for MyProtein it just doesn't go down too well with me.
Love Optimum Nutrition stuff. Tastes so good and worth it IMO
MyProtein impact whey always gives me a really bad stomach. I tried it years ago and then switched brands, recently giving it a go again and still didn't agree with me. Never had any issues with ON stuff.
33728776.jpgMy total ended up as £35.31. I did subscribe and save which took off 5% student prime 5% plus the 25%. When I calculated it, I should have paid more? Anyway I'm happy with it. Thanks op

Can you recommend me a whey protein that doesn't contain any?

I mean the scientific tests are sort of subjective on what you care about. if you are talking about the labdoor comparisons, sure both the "Myprotein Impact Whey Isolate" and "Myprotein Impact Whey Protein" score a lot higher than optimum nutrition, but its not purely down to them being that much better over all, it sort of matters what you ultimately care about.

Myprotein Impact Whey Isolate - (87.6g of bound protein per 100g) 21.9g per serving. (25g serving)
Myprotein Impact Whey Protein (76.9g of bound protein per 100g) - 19.2g per serving (25g serving)
Optimum Gold Standard 100% Whey - (74.1g of bound protein per 100g) - 21.0g per serving (28.4g serving)

"Concentration of bound protein" is the percentage of the product that is actually protein (e.g. not free amino acids).

so sure, you get more protein per g of weight, however in the swing of things, it isn't going to make anything that much better.

if the above are all fundamentals to your diet and you need the highest quality of the above categories, then sure go for My protein.

If you are less concerned about the above and you are just after a good tasting protein, I would recommend optimum nutrition, nothing has had better flavours from my experience.
Ordered. Not seen the tubs cheaper than £35 so this was sizzling for me.
Thanks op!

Me personally, I eat more than I drink shakes. I just have one after hitting the weights as a small boost in protein intake for the day. The. I have my BCAAs I drink before, during and after. I also take 5g creatine every morning.

I'm similar. I have one shake a day to give me the BCAA'S and just because its easy quick protein. The rest is all from my overly complex calculated diet

Rather than buying the product as a 'one time purchase' you can add it to your subscribe and save order for 5% discount. If you add another 4 'subscribe and save' items to your order it'll discount each item by 15%. I added some creatine and protein bars to my S&S (so 4 items in total), I then added some S&S plasters to bump the order quantity to 5 thus giving me the 15% off all items.

TLDR: You could order the protein powder using subscribe and save and the add 4 other low-cost S&S items to take advantage of the extra 15% discount
