But HMV does free postage, whereas Amazon UK charge shipping, bringing them up to £5.43, which is still good, but not as great.

What's studio canal?

Original Poster

Studio Canal is a French company that owns the rights to a lot of films made by (now defunct) Carloco, such as Cutthroat Island, Terminator 2, L.A. Story, Stargate, the first 3 Rambos, Cliffhanger, Lock Up, Total Recall, Red Heat and so forth. Optimum Home Entertainmennt recently recieved the rights to release these films, hence these new ctalogue releases.

Is there any way I can find out the complete list of titles in this deal?

Original Poster

That list up there seems to be complete. The rest being released appear to be £7.99.

Yeah, but who in their right mind ever puts an order in at Amazon for less than £15?

I'll give you that first one. Although paying for Prime is pretty pointless. The second group of people need to develop patience and just wait until they do. All that can do that have no need for Prime.

Ah, but you get quicker delivery with prime (nextday I think).
I'm going to try the free trial at an opportune time

Just in case this was missed...

They are also released on Blu-Ray if anyone is interested, picked up a few on that list from TheHut / Lovefilm last week as they have had 10% off offers.

But, of course, not really cheap like these are.

btw - isnt prime about £40 per year? and for what, quick delivery and to get things under £15 with free-but-not-really-free-cos-its-£40 delivery?

amazon prime is a waste of money in my view, i doubt many would even save £40 in postage in a year. plus the hmv titles are considerably less with quidco, and if you have a student discount, its a lot cheaper still.
