Ad blurb:

This product is described as Ex-Repair/Refurbished. This means an item that has been repaired or has been refurbished following a customer return. This item still comes with a 12 month warranty and is in good working condition but may have visible minor marks or scuffs such as light surface scratching or marks from handling and cleaning. All essential accessories are included and alternate packaging maybe used.

3D and Full HD 1080p resolution come together to make the Optoma HD25e a top contender for the best projector in its class.

Nothing competes with the thrill of a large, cinema style image. Yet, with some projectors, the colours can appear less than realistic and the contrast lacking - especially when the screen size is increased. With the HD25e, Optoma have worked hard to eliminate this. Thanks to Dynamic Black, the HD25e smoothly adjusts the lamp output based on the brightness information of each frame. This helps give it a stunning contrast ratio of 20,000:1 and the ability to offer deep blacks and bright whites - side by side. Working alongside this is BrilliantColor. This processor uses six separate primary and secondary colours to produce a new level of colour performance. BrilliantColor increases colour brightness by up to 50% over other technologies, giving you some of the most vivid images in its class. Now boasting an improved brightness figure of 2800 ANSI Lumens, the HD25e is one of the best projectors in its class for use in daylight conditions. Even during daylight conditions with curtains or blinds open, the HD25e can produce a watchable and detailed picture - something that can't always be said for some more expensive designs.

Using the latest Texas Instrument's DLP technology, the Optoma HD25e gives crystal clear clarity, sharply defined images and true, natural colour. Even at larger screen sizes, the detail is astounding and would have once been the preserve of projectors costing many times more. In order to make the most of high definition video sources, the HD25e will also project 1080p Full HD images, making it the perfect match for your Blu-ray player or Full HD gaming device. In addition to this, the HD25e is also 24P compatible. This means that it will replay films shot at 24 frames per second at the correct speed, without glitching.

Impressive as the Optoma HD25e is in 2D, it's only when you take advantage of the 3D system that the picture becomes truly immersive. Simply purchase the ZF2100 3D glasses system, connect up to a suitable source and enjoy 3D images that are every bit as bold as at the cinema. Rather than using Infra-Red, the HD25e uses a Radio Frequency system. This not only reduces the chance of interference but also provides a higher contrast and brighter images. The optional glasses are also fully rechargeable.

With twin HDMI sockets and a multi-tasking VGA input, the HD25e is well equipped to handle a variety of sources. In addition to PCs, the VGA will also handle component and RGB signals when used with the necessary adaptors. Additionally, there're also composite and audio inputs. An audio output is included as is an RS232C socket, making this projector ideal as part of an extensive home automation system.

For bright, big screen thrills, with the option of 3D, the Optoma HD25e can't be beat.
