Good price , same price on Amazon today too
I'm completely lost on the model numbers and features. Is the Pro 600 the most basic model and is it worth going for one of the higher models?
They are all compatible with the same brush heads. I was looking in to this before I bought mine as I wanted one with a better battery life (the current claim of one week usage for the 650 version is nonsense). If you look on Amazon on reviews of some of the pricier models from Oral B, most of the one star reviews complain about battery life. Simply put, its not worth paying more

I paid £17.50 for the 650 version so this is a good deal

Excluding the Vitality and others that physically look different, there are two types the 6XX and the 2XXXX (broadly speaking as there may be the odd exception) and its mainly the battery, former has NiMH that runs for a week and the latter the LiIon that runs for upto 2 weeks (it also has a pressure sensor).

So the 600, 650, 670, etc have the same body (just in different colours), so it can come down to either price (for the older 6XX models) verses convenience/newer tech/etc (for newer LiIon 2XXX). I've used Oral-B and Sonicair for decades and whilst they have always been NiMH tend to want a new model after 3-4 years mostly because by then the handles are looking worn and discoloured - still work fine (I never leave mine on charge between use) and have changed heads 6-monthly. Not sure going LiIon would extend the life but it really depends on how you would use a brush, if you are someone who keeps things on charge when not used or hates the idea of having to monitor when to recharge, go for an LiIon model - maybe if the price differential is £5 or £10 you may also opt for the convenience, otherwise why pay more! (BTW you can keep the 6XX models on charge between use, just wouldn't recommend it, as it could shorted battery life. All rechargeable batteries both NiMH and LiIon have limited charge cycles though)

I’d say you’d get between 1-2 years from the battery.
Thanks op picked one up today
