RRP £199.99, best price elsewhere I can see is Amazon at £78.

It does say "This is an Original Manufacturer branded product (OEM)" but not sure what that means.

Free next day delivery too.

Why the hate?

I was wondering that myself! I've just ordered one anyway!

Good Deal IMO. Ordered & Heat added.

Yep, I've been waiting on them coming down below Amazon's price (I think Amazon occasionally have had Lightning Deals on them at £50-£60).

Not sure what the "OEM" bit means - maybe it doesn't come with extra changeable heads? Or maybe it's just a non-Retail, brown cardboard box?

We recently got the oral-b toothbrush this is based on and it's really excellent. We are loving it.

Am I missing something as it says £75 for me!

You're right, it does now for me too, but I ordered one about 15 mins ago for £49.99! Weird!

Hot, But price changed.

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer.

Can mean a lot of things, it's different per manufacturer. For example, internal hard drives from most manufacturers do not come in retail boxes. Shaves money off the price and is more eco friendly. They come in plastic clam shell packaging with no instructions, the only printed material that comes with them is the warranty card.

For other manufactured products, OEM can mean the product is unbranded and missing the brand logo.

Not sure about toothbrushes as far as OEM packaging, but I'd wager it likely comes in a plain box in separately individual sealed bags for the different parts. I wouldn't expect it to come with any additional printed material other than the warranty card being that it is OEM. But due to the nature of OEM products, you can't really make a call until someone has seen it.

Not showing as £49.99 for me, anywho.

Well I grabbed one at £49.99 so I'll be able to report back what "OEM" really means! I'm hoping non-retail packaging or lack of logos is all it means, not missing parts!

Hopefully someone else managed to grab one at £49.99.

OEM means generic.

I emailed Duracell about the OEM statement and got this reply:

"This just means that it is a Oral B branded product. OEM means its a manufacturers original. We have to distinguish the difference as also sell products that are compatible versions; mainly for our batteries etc."

Received email order confirmation but justt logged into duracell and can't see anything in recent order history.
Fingers cross they fulfil.
