cheers, justin time

So how often are you mean to change the heads on one an electric tooth brush?

When the indicator bristles change or every 3 months I think - can just confirm I bought these for this price about a week ago, thought it had already been listed on the site though ^^ Def a good price though - 2 years supply and works out at just over £1.50 a head!

Cheers for this. Never new about the boots order & collect service so double bonus!

to be honest you can find these cheaper elsewhere but obviously you dont earn the boots points....but if you buy these through Amazon going through the nectar site, you get nectar paoints and its cheaper and free delivery from Amazon too!!!!

Good price, tho just upgraded to a Sonicare - miles better if you can afford it

But even with postage and packaging this is cheaper than Amazon?

If you can find these cheaper elsewhere, then please share. Yes, you can get them for pennies on ebay but they are not the genuine brushes. Everytime I've bought them off ebay they have been dodgy knock offs without a fully working head.

Don't agree.

Having owned and used both sonic and oscillating/pulsating electric toothbrushes, I would echo what many dentist say and that is the sonic ones are a marketing gimmick and do not clean as good as mechnical ones.

Independent research shows that oscillating/pulsating power toothbrush such as the Oral-B are more effective than the high-frequency power toothbrush such as Philips Sonicare Elite at plaque removal and improvement of gingival condition, with no greater potential for causing gingival abrasion.

Voted Hot.

I have used both and didn't like the sonic either.

This is a great deal. I would also recommend buying the Oral-B Triumph. I purchased one when it was on sale in Argos and I can safely say that I would have purchased it at full price and still be happy. When it it comes to your teeth and health money really isn't an object. The precision heads are great and for £12.23 it is a bargain. Voted Hot.

Got me some! Heat added.

We buy ours from e-bay as we both use these and they have been the real deal every time.

How do you know they're genuine though? Rumour has it that there are a lot of fake toothbrush heads on eBay.

Sounds like your one of the lucky ones - well done.

My experience, and that of most forumers I've had this discussion with, is that most of the ebay ones are false. Mine come in seemingly real packaging and look almost identical - however the head doesn't actually rotate in a mechanical fashion, it just buzzes from the vibrations. They tend to have funny moulding marks compared to the real mccoy.

I've had this with several packs from several sellers. It kind of makes sense - how else could they get unopened toothbrush heads and sell them for a third of the price?

I don't touch ebay for these now - rely on deals like this and stock up (well done OP).

Well all can say is the head does rotate as it should and cleans my teeth as perfectly as the ones we got with it. Having just looked at the last lot we bought they look perfect, no moulding marks or anything that looks like it isn't right.

Nice one.

What deal ? £28.46 online, went to store and got a blank look.

Which are better, Pro-Brite or Precision Clean (Flexisoft) - I've been using the Pro-Brite's...they're more expensive right (4 for £10 from ebay) and I just checked them after reading these comments, definitely genuine:-D phew.

Hey Glimmer - looks like the deal has expired (was posted by OP a week ago). Back up to normal price, presumably instore too.
