aside from price, there's very little difference, both have a timer (which is useful), both have a pressure sensor (also useful for some) ,
if you dig down in the details the only difference i can see is the pro 600 has a NiMh battery and the pro 2 2000 has a Li-ioN battery...
maybe just go with the 600 if you prefer light blue and 2000 if you prefer dark blue

main difference 40,000 vs 20,000 (Pro 600) pulsations per minute

Gone for the 2000 thanks for the help

Cheers OP

Seems to be OOS at that price now - gone up to £34.97.

Do you have a source on that? They seem very stingy in providing info on comparing models.

Regarding the pressure sensor: the 600 also has this, but not with a light.... which might make it ineffective but still worth knowing.

I was hoping for something a little more authoritative than that, since oral-b have previously also stated that all these new brushes (600/2000 onwards) have 40,000 pulsations per second.

If so then although the 2000 is the better brush if you need the modes and lights, in terms of cleaning the 600 is the better value option.

Oh and it was the older 1000 that had 20,000 pulsations per second (although even that depended on territory apparently!)

I am sure it was 40,000 for the Pro 1000 when I bought it 6/7 yrs ago but probably different countries got different specs.
