Product Description

lithium battery version @snoopy18 thanks for the update

Experience Oral-B Pro 2 from the number 1 brand recommended by dentists worldwide. The sleek handle of the 2500N electric toothbrush helps you brush like your dentist recommends: It helps you brush for 2 minutes with the professional timer and it notifies you every 30 seconds to change the area your are brushing. While you are just moving the brush around your mouth, Oral-B's distinct round head does all the rest. It removes up to 100 percent more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush for healthier gums and it starts making your smile whiter as of the first day of brushing by removing surface stains. Not only this, but the toothbrush helps you protect your delicate gums with the proprietary pressure control technology that reduces brushing speed and alerts you to be gentler if you brush too hard. With the Pressure Sensor Oral-B Pro 2, 2500N toothbrush, is the must have brush for everyone who wants to switch to an electric toothbrush and improve their oral health. No wonder Oral-B is the number 1 recommended brand by dentists worldwide. Oral-B Pro 2, 2500N electric rechargeable toothbrush is compatible with the following replacement toothbrush heads: Cross Action, 3D White, Sensi Ultrathin, Sensitive Clean, Precision Clean, Floss Action, Tri Zone, Dual Clean, Power Tip and Ortho Care. Why won't my Oral-B electric toothbrush hold a charge? Depending on which model you have, your Oral-B electric toothbrush should take between 14 and 22 hours to fully charge the brush, and should last for between 5 and 12 days of brushes (when brushing twice a day, for 2 minutes each time). If your brush is not charging or lasting this long there are a few tips you can try. First thing to do is check that the power outlet you are using is working as it should. If it’s attached to a bathroom cabinet, for example, the light switch on the cabinet may need to be switched on to power the socket. Make sure you are not charging the toothbrush on a metal surface. The metal can interfere with the charging process. With our Vitality, Kids toothbrushes & PRO 500 toothbrushes (labelled ‘Type: 3709’ on the underside of the toothbrush), it can sometimes be difficult to know when they’re correctly switched off. If they’re switched on while charging, they won’t charge correctly. The best thing to do is to put it on the charger for24 hours or so, and then try to switch it on. If it switches on that’s great, and it was correctly switched off while charging. However if it doesn’t switch on, that might mean that it wasn’t switched off during charging. Be sure you’re charging for the full time noted in the manual. For our Vitality and PRO 500 toothbrushes, that’s 16 hours. For the Genius range (labelled ‘Type: 3765’ on the underside of the handle), that’s 14 hours. For all other toothbrushes, they should be charged for 22 hours. All our toothbrushes apart from the Vitality and PRO 500 have a charging light. It should blink green during charging. Note that this can take up to 15 minutes to start happening if the toothbrush was entirely drained of battery during brushing. When charging is complete, the blinking should stop.

I’ve just ordered for this price too. The seller doesn’t have the greatest feedback and the price sounds too good to be true but we’ll see what happens!

Let's us know how it goes?
Given the £10 one a go. Not going to get my hopes up but what's the worst that can happen.
I know I wear glasses, but where is the £10 one?
£16.28 delivered for me. Happy with that, my current electric brush lasts about 2 days...

Was going to ask! Thanks.
Ordered one of these on Black Friday. Charge lasts a long time, until the toothbrush stops charging. That said the Braun repair service has been great. Mine should be back shortly and only sent it on Tuesday.
Now is 10.05. Plus delivery.

It turns out to be a cheap knock off and the battery explodes while you’re using it taking out several teeth and 3rd degree burns to your hand and mouth.

Been looking around for this same toothbrush for months at a good price then found it for £29 inc delivery and bought it. How typical that it comes down in price now!

I ordered this morning for £10.05. Seems too good to be true but we’ll see. I also checked stock at the time and it said just over 90 available. But the seller has since but the price up to £13.05 and increased stock as now saying 244 available

Why is the seller not allowed on HUKD?
Ordered thanks!

Where's my bargepole when I need it?
Just been reading back through some of the negative stuff - yes, the Amazon seller (I'll be honest, I didn't realise I was buying from a Marketplace Seller when I ordered) doesn't have a lot of feedback and yes, what it does isn't particularly great but selling fakes? I'm ignorant here; are there a lot of imitation Braun electric toothbrushes out there? I'm betting they're more likely stolen

...and I can live with that. My order's been dispatched so we'll just have to wait and see won't we? When it arrives, if it ever does, can anyone advise on the telltale signs of spotting a fake?
I bought this for £35 yesterday. Return & buying for £13 + postage! Worth a punt!

Now saying 673 available! What’s the seller playing at?
Bugger, just noticed TCB offering 6% back on Personal Care... so if honored, not sure if MP Sellers are, you'd also get your £3 TCB bonus
How do these OralB brushes compare to Phillips Sonicare brushes?

I’d charge it and see how long before it needs recharging, my lithium one lasts for about 40 odd minutes I guess
Yours will probably catch fire before then if it’s fake lol

How do these OralB brushes compare to Phillips Sonicare brushes?

We have both. The Oral B is better.

Dentists have recommended the Oral B over the Sonicare due to being more precise with the clean and due to manner is which the smaller (and better) head of the toothbruch works.

We have the Oral B 9000 Genius & this Oral B 2500. Both do equally a good, only difference in the higher model is more features which to be honest, I dont use much. My 3 year loves the 2500 model. The pearliest whites in her class!

We have the Sonicare DiamondClean. Looks wise it is far superior to the Oral B. It does do a good job. But the Oral B does it better.

Thanks, I'll try and post an update then after I've gotten out of intensive care and had my burns dressing's changed

But if we could be serious for a minute, I imagine Braun, like most of these big outfits, will have a product/warranty registration card thingy in the box? Durracel used to have a email reporting system for fakes, really good it was, very quick response time! Ultimately, this is all going to fall back on Amazon if there's an issue though.
