Very good toothbtush, good price The Oral-B PRO 3000 electric toothbrush provides a clinically proven high quality clean vs. a regular manual toothbrush. The professionally inspired design of the CrossAction toothbrush head surrounds each tooth with bristles angled at 16 degrees and 3D cleaning action oscillates, rotates, and pulsates to break up and remove up to 100 per cent more plaque than a regular manual toothbrush. The pressure sensor lights up if you brush too hard to prevent harmful over-brushing and there are three modes - Daily Clean, Gum Care and Sensitive - plus an in-handle timer to help you brush for a dentist-recommended 2 minutes.

Great toothbrush, had mine 5 years and its only just starting to play up.

I seen this earlier and was tempted. I really fancy getting an electric tooth brush and thought this would be a good one to start with. My only concern is the charging. I think i am too lazy to charge it. I dont have one of those points in my bathroom so would have to move it to another room. Seems a good price and has great reviews.

Got it thanks

Heat added. Just ordered this as well, I had a price alert set.

Just go through oral-b warranty claims they are really good, you can estimate when you bought it

Best £30 you will spend. If you dont already have an electric toothbrush get one now!

For charging just find any old socket + get the adapter and leave it there. After each brush put it back to charge.

I think last year the oral-b 4000 was cheaper

I got this toothbrush around 2 months ago for £25 on amazon, still a good deal at £29.99. Would recommend!

Looks like the 4000 went down to £27.99 at one point, but only very briefly. The 3000 has been as low as £24.99 on a couple of occasions but again only very briefly. I figured I could wait indefinitely to see if that happens again but I really would like it soon, in fact I nearly bought it for £45 the other week. I'm also happy that the 3000 does everything I need.

I'm sure this is a great price but is a manual brush compared to the sonic type.

Don't know about that. Personally I need the type that rotates, my dentist told me Oral B was the best to get, and also that there is no point getting the really expensive ones with all the fancy features, obviously I'm no expert on these things but I figured she is.

I hadnt been to the dentist for about 4 years and when I went to a new dentist he asked me "how long ago did I have them professionally cleaned" I was expecting him to say after my reply that they needed it now and that I had a lot of plaque but he said "because they were really good and had no plaque".
I much prefer this rotating brush to the sonic and totally recommend it.

How often does the head (brush) needs replacing?

Depends on the person, how hard and often you brush but I probably change mine 3 times a year.

I bought it for £24.99 in August, but this is still a decent price. If you're not desperate it may be worth waiting for another £24.99 lightning deal.

Actually I'm thinking exactly the same. These have to be charged each week for only 4 minutes a day usage! I noticed the Philips Sonicare goes for 3 weeks on one full charge so I'm waiting for it to go on sale. Currently £40 at Argos.

I've just purchased as went to purchase in boots and sold out.

£49:99 now, missed it.

Up to you of course, but I don't think I'd base my decision on battery life alone, they're quite different brushes.
