Toothbrush or wife?
Can't see it on Amazon at that price...
savers have them in store for same price
Bought for £20 some time ago, not the best I've owned, very noisy and the main body has a rubber type coating that's a dirt magnet and hard to clean

I bought my wife this model whilst I have the 3000 model. Difference is huge probably mainly due to the oscillations of the brush head being much higher on the better model. As a result my wife now uses my 3000 model so my advice would be to spend a bit more and get the better model.
Toothbrush or wife?
Don't bother yourself with cheap oral b rechargeable ones.

Inside of them there is tiny NiMH battery (42mm x 14mm). 1.2volt, 1400mAh - Which is only 1.7 Watt
This is the reason why speed drops after few days and they last less than a week on single charge.

- Go for Oral B 400 - 2x AA battery - Usually about £7 each - amazon.co.uk/dp/…FK/
- Than get yourself proper Eneloop AA rechargeable £9 for set of 4 - amazon.co.uk/dp/…MI/ (I'm still using Enelops bought in 2007). Apparently there is a loads of fake Eneloops on the market so I'll suggest to buy directly from major retailers.
- On a top of that you need decent charger if you don't have one yet. I'm using top of the range Maha MH-C9000, but this is like Royce Royce in the car world (quality wise and unfortunately price wise as well).

This will keep yours toothbrush alive for about 3 weeks on single charge, because two 1900mAh AA gives you huge 4.6 Watt (almost 3x moore than standard 1.7 watt). You can get even more expensive Eneloop pro** 2500mAh that gives 6 Watt
* Standard Eneloop lifespan is over 2100 charges. This will give you 120 years of tooth brushing.
**Pro's last only 500 cycles of charging, so only 28 years - still about 26 years longer than rechargeable toothbrush.
The way the EU are pushing everyone in it to reduce their carbon footprint I'm surprised they haven't forced manufacturers to have removable batteries so that you can just replace that instead of throwing away a perfectly good tooth brush
Got this just before Christmas but hadn't opened it due to using my battery powered one. Opened it up last month and the charger was not inside! They sent me to complain to Oral B who then declared 100% it's not them. Some staff member stole the charger and now it's completely worthless and a waste of £20!

the box for the charger was inside, empty. Someone took it out and put the box back inside, pretty clever.

Are the 400 range just as good as the 600/650 brushes?

A real official Oral B charger or a cheap Chinese knock off?

Same stuff, just AA powered

Same stuff, just AA powered

Many of the amazon reviews state its nowhere near as powerful as the proper rechargeable ones. Might just go for a single one at £6.99. Cheers.

Second hand original ones. There must be a million of them sitting in drawers. If you know anyone who uses oral-b toothbrushes, then the chances are they have a spare.

That's odd as the ones I have seem to be of a universal fit.
