The replacement brushes are really expensive, that's where they make their money. I went back to manual brush.
Can I have the direct link please.
when i try and order the 8000 online it shows up as £42 in the basket, even though it says it is half that price... what's going on there?
Yeah, it does the same for me as well - and says ''Savings - £0.00", oh well, must be in store only then, still a hot deal if the price is correct

Discounted price is only shown when you book a delivery slot and go to the checkout.

However, unless your order is over £40.00, you get charged £6.00 delivery charge.

None in my local store. Was going to use Nectar points to pay for it. Oh well. :-(
I wouldn't use Oral-B to clean my toilet taps with. Good Price if you're happy with their shoddy products, give me a Philips Sonicare anyday.

Kind of the opposite for me. I returned my Sonicare to Boots after a week of using it. Thank god for their 30 day guarantee.

They are supposed to last 3 months and you can get 8 heads for £20 so doesn't seem that bad?
Got the 8000 from Argos back in November for £24.99.
May still be on offer there?
It's a good brush. You really feel like you've given your teeth a good clean after using it
The Gadget Show did a review if anyone is interested...

what's a toilet tap?
I got 4 replacement heads for £7 from boots - better than forking out £3 a time on their fancy manual jobbies...and my teeth do feel real clean (I got the "smartguide" one that won the gadget show)

If your after a Philips Sonicare, I picked up 2 Philips Sonicare 7300 from Superdrug for £9.99 reduced from £99.99, bought the first one on new years eve and the second on Sunday from a different branch
My vote goes for Oral-B - very good imho and how much are your teeth worth to you?

Oral-B Professional Care 8500 for 35 quid is good....but recently bought mine just after new year for just 25 quid from Superdrug :whistling:

I would personallly wait until someone reduces them down to that price again
I got the Oral-B with sensative heads on the Argos deal and it is a fantastic bit of kit because not only can I get my teeth really clean with it, I can actually brush my gums as well and they look and feel so much better since I started using it.
I bought the Vitality from Superdrug for £14.99, was half price there :-D

i missed out on that.
i popped in today and they had some in stock but the price was back up to £67.99. gutted:x
I got the Professional Care 8000 for £20 today. Nice find. Saw the other one (8500 model) for £35 but I didn't need all the fancy brushheads and other ****.

I had two £99 Philips Sonicares before and they both broke pretty quick. Never again.
