Oral B sonic complete rechargeable toothbrush, 2 modes, timer, 2 yr guarantee.
Found two in Tesco Cheriton Folkestone, bought them both but might be worth looking in your Tesco. They were near the pile of massively reduced Olay creams. Marked as reduced from £74.45. And dh bought one on Amazon 3 weeks ago for £70 odd.

Sorry no picture. I have no idea what I'm doing but I scanned the box to a jpg file and tried to link it's properties, cut & paste, anything, with no success.

I think this is the same gadget as on this thread at £21.41

So, it's an 8500 then?

If so, it was replaced by the 8900 [which I have - it was a'bargain' offer around February IIRC, but can't remember exactly what I paid] e.g. amazon.co.uk/Bra…P5W [the new model has 3 modes, otherwise seems the same]

Having moved from a Sonicare I found this to be excellent

Great price for this then. H&R added

Does this mean that the Braun Oral B Professional Care series is better than the Sonic Complete ?

Sonic Complete is marketed on the basis that it gives 20 000 pulsations/min at which ultra sonic sounds are apparently emitted helping to shift gunk from the teeth. I see that the 8900 gives 40 000 with the rotating heads. Will it do the same then although there is no mention of 'ultra sonic' capabilities.

I'v seen this at 2 local Tesco stores in Bradford - one has them at the full price of £95 and the other store has them at the prioce of £74. I am a little suspicious because there were none left at the latter a couple of days ago which could suggest that they scan at £18 at the till - someone bought one, it scanned at 18 quid so they took the rest !

I think if I refer you to my posts on this thread hotukdeals.com/ite…343 all your questions will be answered ;-)

In short, I would definitely recommend the Braun Oral B over the Sonicare range [of which I have had several models over the years]. It just cleans my teeth better - end of. Interestingly a visit just last week to my hygienist has confirmed that indeed my 'oral score' has increased since my previous appointment 4 months ago [just before I bought the Braun]

I think it's the round shape of the Braun heads [which are much cheaper too!] and the fact they work in a 3D fashion, that gives it superior cleaning. There are also a variety of different heads available.

Go for it!
