I picked the option to disconncect when i called 150 and it went through to cancellations\customer retentions

u high spender?

I recently went through retentions with Orange. Been with them for 18 months on their cheapest tarrif (£19 pcm although the price had recently gone up and of late I had one or two hefty bills).

Anyway, after threatening to defect to T Mobile, I managed to wrangle an equivalent of the Flex30 tarrif, 500 any network, anytime minutes or a combination of 375 mins and 150 texts for £25 pcm. On top of that they gave me a £65 credit, in effect reducing my monthly payout to £20 for the first 13 months) but best of all is that they gave me a free SPV M3100 which costs upwards of £350 (new customers on a £35 talk plan would still have to part pay for this handset).

I got the line as a cashback deal, but downgraded to the cheapest tariff after the first 6months, this was 6months ago, so by no means a big spender.
