Prepaymania is rubbish, they would not sell more than two handsets to each household. Stupid business policy.

Just had a quick look on fleabay- if you get it from there it also has £10 of credit applied to the sim for the same price!!

Some households have more than 2 people in them, so might want more than 2 phones?

Cold £10 cheaper at Argos

These are very easy to unlock, unlocking is free. Google it. It's also quite easy to remove all the orange rubbish from them and upgrade to android 2.2 if you are so minded. Again, full instructions are available if you google.

It's not a tenner cheaper at Argos, they add a tenner on at the till for airtime puchase. You do get an extra £10 airtime voucher as well at Argos but thats not much good if you are going to unlock it to use with your current sim. If you want the Orange airtime then Argos may indeed be the better bet.

I ve got one reserved, theres one in hereford

Original Poster

my iphone is knackered so was going to get this until I get round to fixing it

you still have to buy a £10 top up from Argos making it £99.99

"This handset must be purchased with £10 airtime, this will automatically be added to your transaction in store"

The free £10 is applied once you register your phone

"Free £10 airtime voucher applied once this mobile phone is activated. Offer not available online, please add mobile to trolley to reserve for store pick-up. Offer ends 29th July 2011"

Questions:
1. Does this have an OLED screen
2. Is it better than a Wildfire
3. Why do people keep posting the same old cruddy deals for this phone?

1. No, there are no more OLED's available. There is a world wide shortage of OLED screens. Even the HTC desire, Samsung Galaxy's come with LCD screens now.
2. The San Francisco is better - larger, higher resolution screen. But HTC comes with a slicker custom 'Sense' skin with some very cool and useful widgets.
3. Why do you keep pasting this on every OSF thread?
