ORICO QSL-5U 5 Ports QC 2.0 5V8A 40W Max Desktop USB Quick Charger with EU or US Plug

I have used several ORICO products. My experience has been quite positive so far.

This would be a handy item to throw in the luggage as a travel charger. Alternatively, adapters are available in poundland or use a UK lead as @jnm21 suggested - I have one of each spare

Might be to do with the EU/US plug, pal.

We can all make our minds up without having to justify ourselves every time I'd suggest...

A cold vote with a comment is fine, but cold votes with no comment is still silly/rude. As for the plug, it looks like an Anker, so should take a figure of 8/euro lead. Who doesn't have one of those knocking around? The euro plug one can be kept for holidays.

When the OP went to the trouble of posting, those who make up their mind to cold vote without explaining why can of course do just that - just like I can point out that it is rude (not to mention unhelpful - I voted hot because I couldn't see why this is cold - had it been explained, assuming it can be, I may not have).

Some vote cold just because they are not interested in an item posted. IMHO an item's merit lies in it being available at a price that is hard to match.

Nope sorry don't agree with that, just because someone posts a deal doesn't make them immune to criticism, even if it is just by someone pressing the negative button. Just look at the cold deals on here, people aren't bring nasty, just expressing their opinion that it's not a hot deal..

The problem on here is that there are too many sheep - if the first few vote cold, more pile in & follow suit - a cold deal on here does not mean it is not a good deal - admittedly often it does, but the odd time it means that the idiots & sheep effect sunk it before it had a chance.

Why not post comment on the article for sale rather than on each other ?

While it can be annoying when lots of cold votes appear without comments, but it's not compulsory and conversely are we expected to say why we voted hot?

I'll admit that I vote cold on every Bang Good, Alie Express and other china retailers and I may not give a reason. But if you like I can start, my reason is: they're china retailers.

Erm... a cold vote is a comment on the deal. Live with it, thats how this site works, on a basis thats it's not rude that it doesn't get expanded upon.

This is definitely cold. Not even a UK plug and I bought two of these (under another sub-brand name, because whoever 'Orico' might be, it means nothing) on an Amazon lightning deal tonight for £6 each.

I can live with it just fine, I just choose to call out those who do it as rude - live with it. For me, give me a UK plug option & an EU plug option, I'd pay a few pence more for the EU version (I have dozens of UK ones, only a few EU).

I think you're right about that, herd mentality certainly seems to happen on some deals but not all. There's also the weird and undefined algorithm that HUKD voting has, as I understand it, it's non linear so ramps up either hot or cold, I assume something like the first 10 votes add 10 points, the next 10 add 20 points, the next 10 add 50 points or something like that. Or I imagined it.
