Bought a white one on sale recently to clone and replace the main drive. It does the job so heat for a great price.
It is a tad flimsy though especially the plastic catch that holds it together. Just need to be careful with assembly/disassembly.

So, what would be the up and down speed with a fast 3rd pci3x4 M.2?

I think the most you see out of these things is about 1GB

Rule of thumb: take the gps value then divide it by 10 for the approximate max value (edited)

I assume NVME drives with pre-installed heat sinks probably wont fit ?

Unlikely. It comes with a stick on heat pad which is about 1-2mm thick and it's a tight fit.

Bought one of these from AliExpress first week of January, still waiting for it to be delivered.

My order was towards the end of January and the Royal Mail tracking is showing it's at Milton Keynes at the moment (not the usual distribution centre), hopefully it'll be at the local delivery office and delivered soon. I hope the same is the case for you

I have this and found with the thermal pad attached it was too thick too easily put back together and the card would show as raw in diskmgmt. Remove the pad and shows up fine. Tried running a vm off if it and foubd vm would hang as drive became unreponsive. Not sure if it was heat related (no pad) or just the enclosure. Unlikely to be the card as came out a working laptop. Good price though

Had similar problems with the one I bought, tried a couple of ssd's in it, managed to get one recognised but after a while it became unresponsive. In the end got a Netac enclosure which so far seems fine.

Good price for a decent brand and UK based. I have a spare NVMe drive and I’m sure this will be ideal to build a super fast portable drive, for the times when a slow flash drive won’t cut it.

I've got a 256GB SSD in the PS5 at the moment but picked up the 1TB crucial recently to swap it for. Would this let me use the SSD coming out of the PS5 as a external?
