Orient are a Seiko subsidiary, and I know the "Bambino" watches (esp the blue hands) are very sought after by watch afficionados. This is on the official Orient site for $220 orientwatchusa.com/sho…-2/ (out of stock).

On ebay for £91 ebay.co.uk/itm…645

I love the blue hands against the silver, and it has (mineral I assume) convex* crystal glass, automatic movement and lume as well.

Delivery is United Kingdom FREE DHL Express: "Registered Parcel Free Shipping: Packages sent by Registered Parcel are distributed by your country's local post office system once they reach your country. For some countries this option is not available. By this shipping method, your order can take anywhere between 10-15 days to reach you once shipped. A package reference number will be emailed to you once your order is shipped. Limited package tracking is available for this shipping method.

Our processing time for both the shipping options is 1-2 days. A tracking reference for the package will be emailed to you once your order is shipped."

Here's a close-up video of the Orient NR1Q005W watch:
A beautiful watch that looks way more expensive than its actual price. The blue hands gleam beautifully when held rightly against light. It’s not meant for expeditions, so the lume is less than neon-glow. Its in-house, automatic, mechanical movement is built to work for long (read: decades), so it can be a perfect heirloom to pass down the family line.

Features:
Stainless Steel Case
Stainless Steel Bracelet
Automatic Movement
Caliber 55741
Convex Crystal Glass
White Dial
Date Display
Power Reserve
50M Water Resistance
Approximate Case Diameter 31mm
Approximate Case Thickness 12.25mm

These are a good price too (bit more quirky with the changing-ballerina-pose display feature), 30M water resistant - Orient Ballerina Mechanical Happy Stream Collection DM01001Y Women's Watch £83 creationwatches.com/pro…tml
2822345.jpgAnd this for £98 Orient Automatic Fashionable Sapphire Crystal ER2E001T Women's Watch (30M Water Resistant) creationwatches.com/pro…tml
2822345.jpgMany other great buys on Creation, as ever, of course. Must admit I prefer a lot of the Male designs, but I like these three particularly.

I have tried a ton of discount codes but haven't got any to work with this - you may have more luck than me!

Orient use supremely well engineered in-house movements unlike most major brands. Great find

Still dodging Customs or not? Don't like these watches just for ref.

No idea, I've never ordered from them before - I have seen the random HUKD thread, but no expert.

No, especially as they now put Timepiece on the declaration rather than Laboratory Apparatus, which gets nabbed straightaway. But you might get lucky. Or maybe I've been unlucky.
But often the saving to UK prices makes it worth it. And some brands, like Orient, are not widely available.

Thanks. Had noticed threads had gone from 'never paid customs due to wrong declaration' to 'sometimes they get through'. Seems the trend continues.

Another good watch deal, Louise Louise. Voted hot. Am a total sucker for white face and blue hands.

I could make a joke about a Smurf mating with a Caucasian...

"Orient are a Seiko subsidiary"

Great deal but minor nerd correction - Seiko and Orient were subsidiaries of different companies that have the same overall own although Orient doesn't actually exist as a company anymore it was dissolved end of last year and its assets transfered to its owner company Epson. You can tell an old orient from a new one as the new ones says Epson on the back.

NERD OFF.

I'm shamelessly regurgitating information - I don't know much about Orient's history but information is my bag. Thanks for the extra details I wonder if that means that "new" Orient is now a diminished brand?

Edit: A few discussions on Watchuseek - from September 2016, "SEIKO EPSON integrates ORIENT": forums.watchuseek.com/f41…tml

I don't think so - it just seems to be purely some sort of accounting dodge, it's still the same people knocking out the same great value watches! I've had many an orient over the years and never disappointed!

(Fun fact: They have a series of watches that are made and only sold in Brazil).

Seems more like a lottery to me as a recently purchased a Seiko Padi Turtle and got stung. I then ordered a blue Seiko Turtle and asked them to send it economy and dodged duty.
