A very well regarded line of watches from Orient (Seiko subsidiary) - just noticed that they are back in stock at Creation Watches having been all sold out for ages

The link takes you to one particular model (2nd Gen, FAC00009N0, Cream Face) but they have several versions/generations, min price £98 - max price £105

Personally I like the look of the 2nd gen Roman numeral dials myself, but I am after the white face with blue hands model which is out of stock, damn it!

Whilst the prices are very good for the quality you are getting, you have to bear in mind the risk of customs charges, and I don't know what the warranty will be like...

The watches boast in-house movements, 2nd-4th generations are hackable. Overall they all have a nice vintage look, with a domed crystal.

Main negatives are the mineral crystal (expected at this price point) and 21mm lug width, which means it is harder to find a replacement strap - and that brings me on to another negative - the strap is purportedly where Orient have cut costs on the Bambinos, so you will want to change it - apparently!

The dials are also 40.5mm - personal preference will dictate whether this is a pro or a con, traditional dress watches are normally smaller, but the aptness of the size will depend on taste and wrist size

Overall this is meant to be one of the best "bang for buck" watches you can buy

This seems to be luck of the draw - you need to factor this in just in case you do need to pay these charges but you may get away without them

    Care to elaborate?

    Nonsense.

Great watches from a quality brand that far surpasses the made up name, made up rrp junk that is continually listed on here when being sold on Amazon:

Benedict Camelot automatic watch, rrp £6000, lightning deal price £19.99etc etc rhubarb rhubarb.

I've bought a couple of watches from Creation, didn't get stung for customs on either.
Surprised this has went so cold - Orient has a lot of love on watch forums and would be so much better made than a "fashion brand" of the same price.
Good watch, good movement f6722, great price, hot! Shame I didn't like the style
The Bambino with the blue hands is constantly sold out. Getting one at all is good, and they're usually in excess of £129 (twice as much if you buy direct from Orient).

Yeah, very desirable little watch for most watch fans. I'd love to have this in my collection (although the V2 with the beige face and blue hands would be my preferred choice :D).

Gotta vote hot on this and don't worry if others don't as this deal will benefit someone I hope.

Yeah you're right about the cream dial version....never seems to be available normally, typical for me that the white dial with blue hands is one of the only models Creation aren't stocking right now as it is the one I'm after....should have got it from Amazon global store the other day for around £128 including taxes and custom charges.

This deal is probably more for the small group of watch aficionados who have actually heard of the Bambino, as it is hard to find so many different versions all in stock and at a reasonable price (especially for those of us in the UK)

There are all kinds of reasons people may be voting cold on this one, but I thought it was worth sharing as I don't think you can pick these watches up any cheaper elsewhere at the moment, from the UK. Especially if you avoid customs charges.
Quality watch, particularly like the blue hands on these. Heat.
I've ordered 5 watches from Creation over the years, all Orient & Seiko, and none of them have been nabbed by customs. Its not a certainty you wont get stung, but a very good chance you wont.
Code BSW25 takes 5% off - just tried. (Oh darn, must just be select watches - doesn't work with the Bambino. Sorry. Will keep looking! Think the code is only for the Blowout section creationwatches.com/pro…11/ ).

Brings this Orient Sporty Automatic White Dial ET0X005W Men's Watch down to £113 (£119 sale price).

Orient Sporty Automatic White Dial ET0X005W Men's Watch

Orient released only 2000 pieces of this particular model to celebrate its 50th anniversary and didn’t hold back from exhibiting its prowess in the fields of exotic watch making. The mechanism inside is an in-house original that brings satisfactory impressions through its distinctive display of indications of time, day, date and year. Even its surface-finish, curves and contours are much better than many other high-end watches and can literally put them to shame!

I never got charged custom charges
31873371-7ErnX.jpgI have the version 1 of the one above(lacks hacking, hand winding) Beautiful watch, for the money nothing to touch it. I didn't like the strap so fitted it with a Hirche.
I've never paid taxes from Creation (though it's possible you could).
Heard (from threads on here) creation had started putting accurate disclosures on their packages and now it was more common outcome to pay import fees.
For those that know their watch brands I doubt you could get a better watch for the price. What a find. Just ordered the blued hands version
