I've got the mako 2, got here on a deal in 2018, amazon deal. A great watch, still wear it to work every day. Not let me down yet, well worth the 98 I paid.

I was about to say "VERY" but I think this sounds it up perfectly.
To be fair, I've never got this obsession with lume as I've never scuba dived in my life.

Fellow desk diver, here.I rarely think about the lume till my kids point it out.
Nice alternative to seiko 5 perhaps a little more classy in appearance -heat

Link for the strap?

Really sorry. It was a long time ago.

Like most amateur modders at the time, what I did was buy a 22mm bracelet for a Seiko from Amazon, but the curved end links didn't sit quite flush and I didn't want to file it down. I returned it and bought a generic straight end link bracelet at 22mm. I think it's referred to as "brushed engineer with straight end links".

Look up 22mm straight end link bracelets and you'll find a lot.

Also, this was a long time ago. Since then, I searched for Orient Ray 2 and Mako 2 bracelets and have found aftermarket ones with curved solid end links. That's what you probably want unless you like the gap of the straight end links.
I wouldn't buy Orient from Amazon.

Better go to Creation Watches, Ray 2 is £111 there:

From Creation Watches website:

"Please note that customs taxes / import duties are not included in our price. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay for any customs taxes or import duties imposed by the customs of the buyer's country."

So that could be another 22 quid in this instance, plus 8 quid handling fee if it's DHL.

Let me think this or omega seamaster 300 for a gift. I think this will be perfect 😁 thanks op
The insignia ruins it for me. Looks like a Rothmans promotional item.

And DHL most definitely make sure they'll collect VAT/Duties before they hand it over. I got stung £33 on a £112 Sea Urchin

Hmm, I've ordered from them twice before and never paid any custom duties.
But this was some time ago and I don't remember free DHL delivery back then.

With DHL I agree it's a big risk. Thanks for flagging!
I like Orient
I have a Triton/Neptune, great watch!
But the watch listed here and many of the likes are not great specs for the money!
Better value available now for £125 I'm afraid.....
