IMHO just pay 19.99 for a year's access to EA origins at £19.99
Was £3.50 from Amazon US last month. Could be that price again.

Apologies, just saw it...

I have the trial installed via origin access, didn't knew the full game was now available.

Thanks!

I think it was only added around 2 weeks ago, great game.
Purchased. Thanks
Still pretty active even with all that hullabaloo last year.
Unlocking weapons etc takes time but not too long
I play casually if anyone wants to team up (Lasarke)
Good price, paid around £13 on CDKeys for this just before Christmas. Good game, looks amazing too.
Going through the payment process right now and discovered a price of USD$4.49.

My VPN was on and still set to Washington DC. Switching to London, the price jumps to £8.74.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't buy it through the US website?

You risk getting your origin account banned if your caught using a VPN to buy games. I don't know if it's still available but Amazon US had price matched Origin US on codes for this game a week or two ago, worth trying that first .

Thanks for the reply. Do we know of anyone actually being banned for such?

*Edit* - the AmazonUS route is a bust. Thinking I'll keep waiting. I want to have a copy of Battlefront 2 for testing and just to try out the maps and compare to the first, so I'm not looking to pay much. Will keep waiting.

Can we also just acknowledge how BS it is that the game is about £3 in the US store and £8.74 for the UK? We get completely nailed over here on things like this all the time.

There are mixed reports on using VPNs on Origin. Some people claim they have been buying with a VPN for years with no ban and others say they were banned after one or two purchases. If you google "buying from origin with a vpn" (or something similar) you'll find a few forums talking about the subject.
