Description
A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a new third-person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. This narratively driven, single-player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities and master the art of the iconic lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.

While mastering your abilities, players will engage in cinematically charged lightsaber and Force combat designed to deliver the kind of intense Star Wars lightsaber battles as seen in the films. Players will need to approach enemies strategically, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your Jedi training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path.

Star Wars fans will recognize iconic locations, weapons, gear and enemies while also meeting a roster of fresh characters, locations, creatures, droids and adversaries new to Star Wars. As part of this authentic Star Wars story, fans will delve into a galaxy recently seized by the Empire. As a Jedi hero-turned-fugitive, players will need to fight for survival while exploring the mysteries of a long-extinct civilization all in an effort to rebuild the remnants of the Jedi Order as the Empire seeks to erase the Jedi completely.

Heat...but waiting for <£20

Its getting there with every passing day I reckon
So want this but waiting for £15 and then also upgrade PC. Currently only got a i5-6500 with a 1070. Doesn't meet recommended specs.

Wouldn't the 1070 help a little with running? Says i3 3.3ghz and gtx 650 but are you wanting 1080p or higher and best textures?

Would have though 1080p would be possible with a gtx1070

1070 is the recommended card
Recommended says i7-6700. I've only got the i5. CPU bottleneck is always gonna hinder what the 1070 can do. Irritating thing is my motherboard only supports upto i7-7700 which is 2 series behind the current and the price is virtually the same. It's a game I've been looking forward to playing, so I'll want to play it in good settings. Wait till the summer I think.

Jedi Fallen Order was optimised to use 4 threads which your existing CPU supports. Unless you're planning to stream or run other background tasks simultaneously you'll see little or no performance benefit using an i7 in this particular title.
The usual it's available on Origin Premier @ £15 for 1 month comment, which is more than enough time for most people to finish this

Recommended specs are nearly always just arbitrary riubbish. You'll be fine. At 1080p max settings, the GTX 1070 allows for 90fps, 67fps as the 97th percentile

The i3 8100 is basically the same CPU as the i5 6500 and won't be holding you back.

Runs great on my i5-6600 with 1660 super.

Could be a good pick for a solo game

Mates just started using that. I prefer to have a gaming rig personally. Always have done. Got 2 nvidia shields in the house but not tried GFN on it. Good idea tho.
