Found 12th Jun 2017
I got the link from the MSE website where it states the total cost is £172 for the year but when you go to the weblink it says £124.99

Ive gone thru the order process and had confirmation of that price & no extra costs other than the optional £1.75 for caller display for me

the basic cost without any extras is £10.42 per month (125 / 12) - also no faffing about chasing or claiming cashback

With them at the moment and trying to get out of contract due to bad service, speed is slow and the whole thing goes of for hours regularly 2 or 3 times a week, customer service is OK when you eventually get through but I am sick of having to dig my router out plug it in to master plug............................................ Go into settings change....................

landline rates are high and service is quite fast but not as reliable as sky or plusnet. goes out for 1-2 hr every 2-4 days. not completely happy ATM but it's a small ISP and cheap ... so ... w/e

never use my landline to make calls so not an issue for me - Im prepared to give them a go - only time will tell if the service is reliable or not as some reviews seem to indicate
Various Top Cashback (TCB) available, depending on deal you choose but feedback does not look too good!
I'm sure there was an Origin broadband deal about 2 weeks ago that went hot even though it was £17.99. It seems to have mysteriously vanished from the archives!

that was pop telecom

Yes, that's the one.

It's funny how it's only upto 17mb for that POP Telecom deal but people were lapping it up. I'm sure the poor souls now complaining about Origin were also suckered in because it wasn't BT, EE or TalkTalk.
I'm with origin on a fibre package. The only time I had an issue it was resolved within the day. Only experienced an outage twice & that was fixed in the hour.

Reasonably priced & actually only around the corner from me.
Just to give an idea of uptime since Sat night, it's not really good, bear in mind some of these blips would be due to me not restarting in time (I think!)....

still prepared to give them a go but will keep a record of any outages in case it becomes a problem & I have to try to get out of the contract

just because youve had an issue doesnt mean I will as well

Yeah I'm happy enough to stay and not kick up a fuss assuming they will fix this, and I paid more for 1 year upfront. Won't call with the landline any more though, too expensive.
I signed up with them in Feb for an £180 upfront for one year. It has been problems eversince.
Invariably the connecti0on speed drops to like .7 MBPS. I have disconnect and reconnect to get it running again. Contacting custome services is a challege as well as you are in a que for a long time and then they also say to disconnect and reconnect. Then there are periods when it stops working. Have not used their landline as I am on a basic contract but have the landline for my ADSL.
I used to get speeds of 12 to 16 Mbps with sky and plusnet previously.
I am looking at getting out of the contract and get my money back.
Please dont go with them.
terrible service and Slow!! ! avoid them!
I have submitted a complaint through resolver asking for a refund of unused months rental and a disconnection. Will escalate it to the umbudsman.

been with them for 7 weeks now & service has been mostly OK

marginally slower than SKY when downloading stuff

had maybe a handful of short outages mostly after midnight that resolved within a couple of hours - for me just a minor irritation & didnt really bother me

I guess if you are a heavy streamer of media then the outages might be more annoying depending on when they happen

All in all I'd use them again if they were the cheapest again - however if there was another deal fairly close in price I would go with that for the extra reliability
