Where does it state they are genuine??

Says original OEM cable which to me states 3rd party built to Apple specifications. Looked at description and no where does it state it is a genuine apple cable

If you buy one, buy a fire extinguisher too
My mistake then
Good reviews though... if they were crap then you would have at least 1 negative comment.

Any OEM product should be genuine, if its not then its not OEM.

Not on about the phone, on about the dodgy cable market of which there are many known issues with fake/copy lightning cables overheating

Well not as if products have planted reviews nowadays by the sellers mates is it. That would be so hard with just 38 reviews
I've had one from Poundland 3 months house not caught fire yet

Sounds like your giving scare reviews on something you've never bought or tested yourself.

This is an OEM original product, which probably means that this is made by the company that supplies Apple with their cables. If it had no reviews you would use that argument so really you can't win. Samsung owner one suspects...
Bad experience with this Company, ordered an iPhone 12W charging plug.No delivery even after 3 weeks! Finally when I kept pestering them they sent me a Claim form to fill up if I wanted the refund!Bunch of muppets!Got my refund in the end and ordered from eBay which was delivered in 2 days.

last time I used a Poundland one it made the battery on my iPad Mini swell up. I only use ones that are Made For iPhone certified now - for the sake of another three or four quid it's worth it IMO. My best cable so far is a TK Maxx one, properly certified and has held up better than anything - cost a fiver.
