Something to be aware of, bought one from argos and was quite disappointed.

The DJI go app is useless on Android, constantly disconnects from aircraft. DJI have a small list of compatible handsets which are getting on a bit and even then don't work as intended.
I originally tried with my S8, disconnected constantly.
Tried a S6, disconnected less frequently but got a fright when I got a compass error and aircraft went into Attitude mode and started to drift at same time phone disconnected. Had no RTH and was quite far out, struggled to get it back.

DJIs response and solution was to use an I phone so I picked up an iPad mini 4 on ebay.

IOS definitely more stable, no more disconnections but drone developed an issue where it would switch into Attitude mode every flight, even with full GPS.
No amount of compass or IMU calibration would solve it so returned to store for refund.

I'll maybe get another if they ever fix the app although Mi drone 4k is tempting me more and more each day.

I'd personally be wary purchasing from China etc incase it had to be returned as DJI support is useless.

I'd also be wary purchasing if you use solely android as with Nougat the experience is far from ideal.

Just my 2 cents.

Good price though, heat added.

I think anyone buying a uav of any sort in the UK now is just throwing good money after bad. With compulsory drone registration and safety awareness exams due to be introduced by the government, for any drone over 2ozs in weight. That's basically anything from one that sits in the palm of your hand, to multi-operator professional jobs.

That's not necessarily a bad thing when you see people flying them near airports.

limited to 200 pieces !

Is that the debris field, when it hits the deck?

Mi drone 4k definitely seems like a good deal.

Nothing will change. Legit photographers/videographers will register and the idiots who already fly like idiots won't. It's a step in the right direction but far from a perfect way to police these things.

So penalise everyone with a drone because of a few idiots?

If you have any issue Tomtop will not respond/fixit. Been sending emails to the for months!

Avoid!!!!

Would you call having a Driving License for a car as a penalty for safe drivers?

Would you call cyclists using the roads (and pavements when it suits them) with no road tax or insurance safe? There are untold thousands more accidents caused by cyclists, who, for the whole, just get back on their bikes and ride away with no penalisation whatsoever, than there are by drones. But we never hear that cyclists are going to be asked to register their bikes, or pay tax and insurance, never mind sit a compulsory safety awareness exam. And I'm pretty certain any cyclists reading this would be outraged, saying I'm being totally unfair and that it is just a minority of cyclists who do this.

It's just more badly thought out knee jerk reactionary bull from our gov with no meat or substance, in fact no plan at all other than to grab a few headlines. County's run by self serving muppets. Pigs kill more people per year than drones ... yet here we are!

Love drones but they are so over priced for a decent one.

It's the price you pay for the latest tech - if you don't mind something less flashy you could go for the P3 Standard or Xiaomi MI drone

Do these drones have Hd-4K recording (getting the camera with it) but I mean stabilisation, I wouldn’t care what the drone itself looked like as long as the recording is good quality

I just hope those proposed Amazon delivery drones with stay well away from me machine. I hope drone registration and safety awareness is going to apply to them.

And since when has having a driving license or insurance been a guarantee that all drivers would be responsible? Take the one who ruined my life for me (as he clearly had other things on his mind, since he said he didn't see me) for example.

It's something you have to weigh up against how much you think you'll use it. I thought I would use mine all the time, but didn't factor in the Irish weather or "no fly" zones. And although there are plenty of places in Ireland and the UK that I would love to photograph or video, it's not really as easy and convenient as I thought it would be to do so.
