Although most of the kudos tends to go to the meizu 16th, this is a decent model, from the official meizu store. 6gb of ram, and a decent snapdragon in it, you could do a lot worse for value than this while it's on promo. Normally goes for 150ish.

Just realised that when I got the link I picked the wrong one. This is still a decent AliExpress shop, but if you want the meizu official store it's a couple of quid more expensive.
And before anyone says it, 120 quid is below the customs charge threshold of 125 quid and meizu are one of the older more respectable Chinese manufacturers, who do sell in Europe, it has all the relevent bands, does not have NFC (just use a curve card and be done with it), and have never been one of the companies ever accused of spyware or any such naughtiness. Think of them in the same sort of pitch as oppo or Lenovo.

There is no customs duty if you import a mobile phone from China.

VAT would be due at 20%

Is that the same Lenovo that injected it's own adverts etc into your net page viewing, by having preinstalled malware?
Shame no NFC but lot to like otherwise

Not sure you're right about this phone having all the relevant bands. I found the phone on eBay & they imply it DOESN'T have Band 20 (there was a red cross next to O2 LTE).

Also, although this phone is supposed to come with OIS, I watched one YouTube review which said there was no video image stabilization (the test clip was very jerky). Shame really. This was a very tempting deal.
