wast tempting because Banggood is good, but much cheaper on Geekbuying at the moment hotukdeals.com/dea…210
I have the previous version (Amazfit pace) and quite happy with it. I used it while running the Marrakech Half-Marathon last month and it was quite accurate, showing 13.1 miles exactly at the end.

I will consider buying this one for the extended batter life.

Not sure why this is cold - have some heat from me :-)
Ordered - thanks OP.
You can get this for about £43 at gearbest, I’ve had mine for a couple of weeks, great watch, my only let down is it won’t sync to runkeeper

whats the heart rate monitor feature like - accurate?
I too wonder if the HR is better or the same as the mi band 2. I have the mi band 2 and the HR is accurate if I do not move whatsoever. Inaccurate when walking.

away from geekbuying.
I bought one from geekbuying for $59.99 (say about £43 on a Clarity Card) on 17 January. It arrived within a fortnight. The battery life is not 45 days if you use a face with a moving second hand - more like 14 days - but it is still a good piece of kit for the money. It has replaced my Mi Band 2 and freed up a wrist.
Weird, I literally just bought one of these lastnight but from ebay for £66 as Im so impatient. Upgrading from my original pebble. Looks like a good piece of kit.

I'm currently on 35 days with 24% battery left with no moving seconds. Got my from geek buying too for around £37. Big group on Facebook re this watch. Easy to make your own watch faces too.
Just ordered one from Gearbest for 45 pounds.
Do these sync to strava yet?

Does it costantly (or at least regularly) measure heart rate?
I don't have that enabled but you can get it if you want.

whats the heart rate monitor feature like - accurate?

I’m not 100% certain , I think mine shows heart rate a little higher than it actually is, but I don’t think it’s out by much.
i don’t think any wrist based monitors are 100% accurate
I bought one a few days ago on Amazon for £64.99 as I have the ease of returning it if it wasn’t any good. I must say I’m well happy with it. I used to have a mi fit 2 but I lost it due to the crap strap. It looks good and I like the options the software is constantly updated and the GPS seems to be the deal maker. Also it weighs next to nothing. A lovely piece of kit for the price. Mine was an English version with a 11/2017 production date.

I just recorded my first track but struggling to get it out of the watch. The mi fit app is next to useless just exports it as a jog picture. I want a gpx track. I know Strava does it but that's a monthly subscription to get the data. I don't want Strava functionality I have my own apps to do that. Is there a free app to get the data. Help

Thanks for that, I got a Hcx file and used GPS babel to convert it to gpx. Do you know if there is a python program as a backup to this. I am worried that strava might pay them to remove file export functionality. I am looking for a cast iron way of extracting the data out of the db file

Dont know as I dont have one myself, just did a search on the amzfit forum on xda as I was on it anyway reading up on the Amazfit stratos which I am waiting on. Probably best to try that or their are a couple of facebook groups too. Good luck.

Does this watch allow export to strava then? But only with the subscription? I use a Byrton GPS but that allows tcx,gxp export
I've joined the group now.... Apparently you can just pay 1.69 and get the .tcx of the walk from that I was able to change it to .gpx with GPS Babel pc program. You can import to Strava but as you probably know you can't export from Strava without paying them a monthly subscription. But it doesn't matter because you can import it to Strava and then import it as a file and you never need to get the file out of Strava so you won't need to pay the sub. You can get an app as a APK called mifit exporter which will get the file for free but you have to root your phone something I would only do if the notify and fitness app started restricting access to the .hcx which I hope won't happen.
Oh yeah before I forget you can convert a .hcx to .gpx but you should always store the file as .hcx as it contains more information (heart data etc.) Once you convert to .gpx you can't get that data back so keep the file as a .hcx and only convert it down if the app program your using requires it.
