Well it's not a google Home, Echo or Dot A good bluetooth speaker for £14.51 though! Has an aux socket, which is an essential for me.

Code BFBLTSUK beings the price down - you could maybe use it along side your Dot though, haha

Tempting as eyeing up a dot!

Bought one this morning using a gift card I had, couldn't refuse. I already talk to myself fairly often, so I should feel quite natural. I don't normally speak in the third person though or refer to myself as Alexa (Just at the weekends)

Can it be left on charge and switched on permanently, if left connected to a dot? Obviously important!

I think that this one can because it’s 2nd generation, In the past 1st gen was quite cheap sort of in this price range but I remember people complaining that it doesn’t work while being charged, so they were recommended 2nd Gen which was never this cheap before, I think the cheapest it was, was around £20ish

Balls! I paid nearly £20 for it a month ago. Haven't even used the damn thing yet

You're not the only one...

Thank you. Ordered.

Its not a deal but the 1st Gen is currently £26 which includes a MicroSD slot and 0.5 watts more with a little louder volume and full metal design.

Very, very tempted by the price of the 2ndGen though...Damn you Xiaomi!

I think they are both Chinese voice language/Button text, but there is call for a English firmware on the Mi forums.

They will be opening a European store just on the purchases made by HotUKers at this rate!
