What an absolute load of waffle... xiaomi are one of the biggest tech brands in china... quality of very good!!

Very nice price for this. Ordered one 2 weeks ago and arrived yesterday. Sounds decent enough for the price. Plus you could get cashback (even if it's 1% for existing customers).
Always skeptical about these earphones. Have ordered a pair to see what all the fuss is about. Hopefully they wont be pants.
Should just pin these Xiami headphones/doogee phone deals to the front page.

Being a deal is a joke, they're this price twice a week on here until the batch is sold on here.
Throroughly recommend these and the previous version.

Caution: make sure you pick a good pair of the supplied silicone tips to ensure a properly decent seal in-ear (just as with all in-ear buds like these). Without the seal, you'll find these are like all others that don't fit properly - rubbish.

Get a good fit (or some comply tips) and you'll be hard pushed to find better for even 3x the price in my opinion.

Are these bass heavy? I am currently running Shure se215's (at 4 times the price) but unless I use really uncomfortable foam tips I don't get any bass so just wondering what these are like with normal silicon tips

They are. They made my phone. Gearbest on the other hand are a law unto themselves.

I bought a couple of pairs of Xiaomi earphones from them last year when they were cheap on flash sale and I don't think either pair lasted any longer than 3 months with regular use.

No bitterness involved. The earphones cost £2 a pair. I just threw them away and got on with things.

I've personally seen how bad Gearbest's customer service can be anyway so I wasn't going to run that gauntlet for the sake of £2.
Any £2 pair of earphones are not gonna last long. These Xiaomi's are built like tanks. I've had a set for 2 years still going strong.

Ok. If you say you got on with things, then you should have some closure? You are an intelligent person; it is time to move on. There is no point in running anything for the sake of a few quid? However, if you still feel victimised then I have already outlined the avenue for you to pursue..
bought the previous hybrids last year for around the same price. excellent sound and build quality.
Got a couple of pairs already, so another couple will not go amiss.

I think they aren't too heavy in fairness, but that's my preference. Too much bass (Beats etc) is not my cup of tea, so I find these are just right for me.

As for Gearbest, well, I'm yet to have any reason to question their customer service at all. Pay on credit card, what risk are you really facing if it goes wrong? Get a charge-back, job done. Same for Aliexpress.

Ordering £2 a pair headphones (no doubt with delivery free!) is probably not representative of what this deal is about. Gearbest are a genuine Xiaomi retailer to boot.

Absolutely. A great brand, you won't get anything comparable in quality and price on amazon. Unless it's the same thing.
I use earphones with a Roberts personell radio and because of putting in trouser pocket had failure ocurring at plug end but since using an old camera case with a belt for radio havn't had a headphone fail for 6 months.

I've had mine over a year, been in the washing machine at least five times after forgetting to take them out of the pockets, been scrunched up in the bottom of pockets and bags and the **** simply won't break. Built like tanks is right.
Balls forgot to use code. Nvm £17.50 is good for theses, wanted a pair of the new ones anyway.
I've had mine (the previous version) for 18 months, they've survived being through the washing machine and tumble dryer twice and being "borrowed" by my kids who appear to be destruction testers for most earphones!
May be a stupid question but are these active noise cancelling or what, as the earphones I have at the moment need charging for the onboard amplifier?
I have these. The remote doesn't work with iPhone...
Got a cheaper pair of xiaomi's and have to say for the money they're superb. Tempted to upgrade to these.

No, they're not. They're noise isolating like any decent in-ear earphones. I use mine with Inairs Air1 memory foam tips (similar to Comply, but half the price in Amazon).
Original Xiaomi Mi IV Hybrid Dual Drivers Earphones are £12.72. What's the difference?

I have these and older ones as well. These HD Pros have less bass, but much better definition on the mid-range and treble. The remote is also much sturdier and buttons are easier to click. They also have a full rubber cable, rather than the lower half braided on the old ones. I also have a pair of Musical Fidelity EB33s (RRP £80, but were available on Amazon for <£30) and I prefer the sound of the Xioamis (but also because the volume buttons work properly on Android).

I have both pairs, for me the differences are:

* Much better mid range clarity.
* Much better remote (the buttons are aluminium and their easier to locate and click).
* Better cable. It's all rubber, rather than half braided on the cheaper ones (I found they got tangled quite easily).

There's also some comparisons in this review: head-fi.org/f/t…85/

You'll find most of the top deals are manipulated by Hukd editors or helpers. Bit of a marketing scam really. Been on here for years and it just gets worse and worse, some of the top deals are blatantly pushed; probably for their own profit!
Was going to buy despite negative gearbest reviews... then find website has me logged in as David Chadwick from saint albans and can see all his orders/details!? think I'll stay clear of gearbest!!!
Code works for me, but bring the price down to $19.99 / £16.06
Had the dual-driver ones for a while and they are brilliant. I prefer the sound to the likes of the Soundmagic E10s which cost £30+ and seem to break quicker than these Xiaomis. A pair of triple driver earphones at this price is nuts. I'm tempted to upgrade myself.
Which shipping method do you all use? Does it matter with the small cost items in terms of tax?

I used priority line which means the courier will be yodel. I didn't get custom charges for just the headphone. If ordering from China warehouse, you should expect 2 weeks until it reaches the UK.

Personally I find people sharing their different experiences in the comments section quite helpful
Are these much better than the Piston 3's I've had for about 18 months and are still as good as day 1? I only use them about an hour a day to walk the dog so they don't get damaged. I've also got a pair of Soundmagic E10's which I've had for a couple of years, and don't really rate them tbh, well in comparison to the Pistons, and they never get used. I've also got some Einsear T2's off aliexpress a couple of weeks ago. Only £9.73 delivered, based on audiobudget.com/pro…/T2. The mids (guitars) and the vocals are ok, but I find the bass a bit tinny. Worth me spending on these new Xiaomi Hybrids?

There are! These are genuine but you often find fakes for a couple of quid on eBay. There are guides on YouTube to telling the difference between the real ones and the fakes.
