Not a bad price, ordered to use at work. Hopefully the audio sounds nice as they may not been tuned to a European/UK ear. Second order from gearbest, if all goes well will report back.

I've got a pair and they're really good for the price.

Better than Soundmagic E10s and on a par with Vsonic VS3DS.

So many copies going round... I've ordered 'original' Xiaomi earphones from Gearbest and Amazon and got completely different packaging, one with a case, one with a bag, which one was genuine, I don't know

There should be a little tag on the cable with a QR code on it.
Scan it and if it is genuine it should take you to a MI webpage.
I also have bought 'genuine' Xiaomi earphones from Gearbest.
The code indicated they were fake.
After a lot of backwards and forwards, I got a refund.

useful thanks, did you get a 'bad gateway response' when you tried to connect to the mi webpage?

There seems to be problem with authenticating outside of China, it doesn't mean they're fake. On Head Fi Gearbest is a trusted company and I would not expect fakes from them. Their customer service is great IMO.

No idea why these are being voted cold as they are amazing for the price. I think people may be getting confused with gen 4 hybrids, which these are far superior to.

For a triple driver earphones (2x dynamic and 1 ba) this is phenomenal value. They are so well made too.

I'm a ch-fi addict and these are one of my favourite pairs.

That is what the address is producing for me now.
At the time the page did load and there was a picture of a 'sad looking bear or animal' something like that, and lots of RED text!

Interesting.
However, at the time, when I uploaded a picture of the QR code all protests that the item was genuine dropped.
Though I suppose there are other reasons why they might have taken that decision.

Both sets of earbuds give the same response when checked!, I assumed the ones which came in a nice plastic case with the earpieces wound round a piece of soft plastic and with three different sizes of plugs nicely mounted in the case were genuine!
Also the sound is not very good to me, no bass and a very prominent midrange, nothing like even a cheap pair of headphones. Both are quite similar.

Mine were in a cardboard box with all the plugs etc.
I wasn't impressed with the sound either, hence checking whether they were genuine or not.

Other half now uses them whilst gardening and finds them more comfortable than the ones that came with her player, sound quality better than what she was using too, so for her an improvement.

OK earphones but BAD company to order from.
They spend ages processing orders and then when they do send them out you're even lucky if you receive it.
My first order never turned up and I mistakenly decided to try them again, wish I hadn't, because a week after placing the order its still processing.

The verify link only works via Chinese proxy.

Gearbest are normally fine for headphones though, don't sell fakes, but do put dodgy roms on phones so should be avoided for them.

I have the older Dual Hybrids and am really pleased with them, might upgrade when these hit £15.

I bought these from gearbest 3 months ago excellent for the price mine came with the plastic case with the earpieces wound round a piece of soft plastic and with three different sizes of plugs just like yours but there is also a plain white carboard box alongside the plastic one that looks like its there for packing but inside it is the cloth bag did you look inside it

The QR tab on mine says its for warranty purposes and when scanned gives me a 8 digit number which i presume is something like a serial number so i believe them to be genuine

I'm sure I must have because I put the plastic case in it, but what did I miss? There's nothing sewn into it
When I scan the code, I get linked to a web page mi.com/ver…tml?(then a long number) but this gives
"502 Bad Gateway"

On a pc. But they sounds almost as bad on a phone (to me)

mine didn't have any sort of case. it did come in a nice box with spare buds. I got the same bad gateway address. They sounded a lot better after leaving music playing on them for 30hrs.

They have a little more bass than my E10's and found them more comfortable.

Mine have arrived, in the box the earphones are in a plastic box with the cord wound around a silicon square. (its nice design but my wording doesnt give it justice) just below the box there is a card section which contains the draw string pouch.
Audio is excellent, I haven't tested the microphone. They feel sturdy & good quality.

does the volume control work with iphone ?

Sorry no. The instructions state only the middle button works which is for play/pause/back/forward.
