Hi, sorry what's the difference with global version?

The battery life on these is exceptional. I am not convinced that the heart rate is particularly accurate, but I think they are worth having just to compare your activity levels from one day to another. Finding you have only walked a few hundred steps in a whole day is a bit alarming! Whereas, if you've done 12K without really noticing, its quite pleasing.

Paid £22 for mine on aliexpress with an additional strap and two screen protectors, from seller MC TECH. Very impressed with the product and was delivered in 7 days.

I'm really happy with mine. I checked the HR on mine when I had a stay in hospital recently. It was the same every time the nurse took my stats.

Its to do with where the band connects to download the updates i believe. IMO not worth paying extra for "international" the "chinese" one also seems to get the updates first.

Both the SO and I have had the "chinese" one and have used it daily since without issue.

Am expecting mine any day now. Ordered from AliExpress on 10th Feb for £19.52. Tracking info latest (from 18th) just says "Security check success," so hopefully it's in the country and I should have by end of week!

I think I ordered one from gearbest on about the 10th of Jan. Nothing arrived yet! I had my doubts about these Chinese companies and I reckon it's almost time to confirm those doubts.

Global, not international. Global is CE marked, has instructions in English, and, as you said, connects to servers outside China. Also, is installed with global firmware. I definitely would pay the extra.

What do you gain vs the std firmware provided?

The global firmware is less buggy, and gives a better user experience apparently. I'd pay the extra just for that.

Erm, OK.

It's terrible at tracking your sleep, mine said I went to bed at 6pm when it was 10pm.
Didn't register any of the times I was awake during the night either.

I ordered mined from Gearbest on 14/01. Looks to have despatched around 24/01, showing as arrived in U.K. 31/01 but still no delivery. I've sent two messages and apparently I have to two 2 months from despatch before claiming. Hoping it turned up soon!
I do not suppose anyone knows who delivers on the Uk side?

Gotta say delivery is a mixed bag. Ordered a Asus router recently and arrived within 10days. Comes via normal royal mail post once at this end

My band arrived yesterday but seems to be faulty. Counting steps while I am sitting. I have nearly done 20k around the house today (It must have assumed I live in a mansion!!). Is there a way I can get around with this!? Will gearbest agree to send in a replacement or the only option is to bin it?
