What was on the monitor during 'sitting peacefully'?

The most astonishing part of this thread is how much people are expecting this budget device to do. It's basically a low end Fitbit not an Apple Watch. It's great value for money. Gives notifications on your phone and lasts 3 weeks or so on a single charge. What do you want for the £15 price tag?

Heat. Under £15

These are decent, been using my for a few months now. The battery on this product is amazing, could last one month with one full charge.

Bought one, waited a long time thinking might be junk, wont be leaving it charging over night needless to say.

Couldn't get this to work with most of the fitness apps I tried but does work well with the Mi Fit app.

Battery lasts about 3 weeks using it every day.

I have used my for several months now and after about 5th month it loosing charge significantly.

Heart rate count not even close to accurate looks like guessing. Checked while in GP surgery pulse. Again miss.
But happy to use it as smart watch. To vibrate on alarm, show caller on silent.
Still good buy though.
Had a toy for £20 lasted less than that.

I like mine, but I do find the step counting a bit inaccurate, if you look on the app it will tell you when you were active. I work for 8 hours in a supermarket but am barely ever stood still for more than a few seconds, yet there will be huge chunks of inactivity.

A very good value. Only had thing about it is not possible to see the display in bright day light

Top deal! Bought 5!

I love my miband 2, I got it as part of a deal when I bought my xiaomi mi5 from banggood.
Step counting seems pretty accurate (does it really matter if it's a few out?), heart rate is very good.
The official app is a bit basic but better ones are available on google play for a small fee. Personally I haven't bothered, the official one sends notifications of calls, texts, emails and whatsapp via gentle buzzes. This is very effective- I now leave my phone permanently on silent and can tell easily who is calling by looking at the band.
I agree with it being difficult to see in very bright sunlight, but otherwise is fine.
The battery lasts for weeks, I haven't got close to it going flat - I just pop it on charge for 20 minutes when I have a shower and that keeps it going fine.
It does everything that the lower end Fitbit bands do, but at a quarter of the price - you can't go wrong.
Recommended.

I LOVE my mi band it's just so simple, works well, massive battery life and unobtrusive. I genuinely wouldn't swap it for an Apple Watch (well I would but only to sell it)

I have mine set up to do that. These things are brilliant and more accurate than many of its more expensive rivals.

Hmm. Does it accurately track how many miles you run?

I have one of these for phone notifications, I use a paid app called mi band tools, it really opens up the use of this device.
One thing to note is that it draws so little current when charging, that a power-bank won't stay on - you'll need a wall charger, although, it doesn't take too long plugged into a laptop.

How long does it take to recieve items from these?

Had one for months but latest firmware update broke it, stopped syncing with my phone. Avoid.

It's IP67 so will be fine for swimming, but it probably won't measure anything useful, also water will get trapped inbetween the strap and case so you'd need to pop the device out every time to dry it. I'd not bother.

It's accurate enough for most purposes. There are various comparisons people have done and I recall the Mi Band slightly overreads, but it's no worse than any other budget model.

Hi, I chose Clarks Store on Amazon for my order as I have Prime and wanted a reputable seller for a start . So same day delivery, at £25. Great timing for me as I've just lost my mi band 1s, which I use purely to track my sleep.

Absolutely cracking for the money. Had mine a month and can't fault it.

on fitbit activity is in solid chunks of 15 mins
if you are walking then stopping to work then walking then you wont be getting enough steps to be labelled active per chunk
edit: though it seems to count mins in smaller portions too - dunno!

What's the point of this being oled

Nicolas

Can you read texts or make calls on this

You gets text and call alerts. It displays the caller/texter's details but not the content of the text. If it's a whatsapp message you just see the whatsapp symbol, not the contact name. But ya know just pick up your phone for the rest of it

Voted hot, thanks OP.
