This a new deal for the newest smart band, Xiaomi Smart Band 4. The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is currently £34.99, so this deal looks great.

The latest version of the Xiaomi Mi Band with colour AMOLED screen. The chinese version will switch to english once synced to the app and is cheaper than the global version.

The current version is the Cn version but when you connect the Band with the Mi Fit app then it will automatically changes to English, don't need to worry, as I have already tried it.

You can make a new account to use the coupon, or you can use the dot trick on gmail so the coupon is accessible to anyone

If you pay in USD it will only cost £19.84 and you can pay free in USD with Monzo or Revolut

Incorrect. It's just the packaging & certificates, your getting mixed up with the NFC variant which is only available in china.

I'm currently on day 24 with 24% still left on my CN version! (even with the heart rate being taken every minute).

It would seem to me that it's the same as the global version.

Oh really , good thing I didn’t jump right in. Cheers for the info. I’ve also found out there a NFC version which for me would be very handy

What is the size difference in the much smaller battery?

Has anybody had any purchases from this seller on AliExpress. Now a bit wary since getting some fakes from another eBay seller.

I've recently received the Chinese version and after a week of use it's fine! The miband 2 which it replaced suddenly went too dim to use ( in built obsoletion maybe!) For the price it's very good but I'm somewhat confused by....screen lock and screen unlock particularly with phone screen on redmi 4 x, the instructions are not very clear? Any help appreciated.

Maybe, but if so that’s down to xiaomi. A few months ago my band 2 stopped working and I asked their support for help. I was advised that my best option would be to upgrade to a 4 when they came out. I was given a personal voucher code and details of 3 different versions. That’s the differences I was advised about. Btw my version does only last around 2 weeks. I’m currently on 52% and it was charged 5 or 6 days ago

has anyone worked out how to change the date format to dd/mm on the default face? I find custom faces drain the battery way quicker
Bought mine from AliExpress. Charged on 11th July to 100%. Down to 10% last night and so charged.

I think the battery lasts longer than my mi band 2 did by the time I retired it. About the same as when the 2 was new.

Exactly the same symptoms I have from my Miband 2 (2/3? years old?).
Screen suddenly went almost too dim to read. App still works OK and i don't obsessively monitor everything but would be nice to be able to read the screen again!

The information came from xiaomi support. Through the Mi account website. They emailed it to me along with a one time discount code. Three different versions, global, Chinese with smaller battery and AI but only in Chinese, and the NFC also with smaller battery and Chinese AI. That’s what I was told by support when I asked about repair options for my band 2. Apparently my band 2 was overcharged and that’s why it was unresponsive. Also advised to let it run flat and then charge it via a small power bank to no more than 20% and it should start working. I ended up getting a band 4 instead. Which does appear to last around 2 weeks

The UK support? Very odd, sadly that is not the case
I signed into my account as normal and accessed support through there. I don’t know if it came from the (UK) or not. This was just before the band 4 was released iirc. So maybe they didn’t have the full facts at the time. But I’m just guessing. All I know is that my version lasts roughly 2 weeks which matches what I was told

Nope am fine thanks just go with recommendations to be on safe side. Bought plenty off there. Been waiting for another deal from ‘3C entire’ which I know is trustworthy.

I assume you’ve not bought from this seller before?
I had import tax on the one I brought a few months ago, it's was £3.70 but the post office handling charge was £7 on top ....
The colour screen makes it look cheap on my opinion. Mi band 3 looks better
I bought one from ebay for £27. Very good screen and feature for the money and battery great. Amazing value at this price
Does anyone know if these are compatible with smart scales like Renpho scales etc? I’m waiting for a good Fitbit deal but I would defo go for a Xiaomi Mi Band if I knew they were compatible with smart scales. I’ve tried googling but can’t get a definitive answer.

Not true, there are three versions of the mi band 4: standard CN, Standard Global, and NFC CN.
The first two (standard versions) have the same battery/life.
The additional NFC version has a shorter battery life due to NFC and voice recognition (neither of which will work outside China) and smaller battery.

Details for the two Chinese version direct from the Xiaomi CN website mi.com/sho…n4/:

"• Xiaomi Bracelet 4 Standard 20-Day Battery Data is measured by the Huami Technology Sports Lab: use factory default settings, turn on 30-minute automatic heart rate detection, receive and display 100 notifications per day, 2 alarms per day, vibrate for 5 seconds Touch the button every day to display the time 10 times, and start the APP to synchronize the data once a day. In actual use, battery life is related to various factors such as setting, operation and use environment, and may differ from laboratory data;

• Millet Bracelet 4 NFC version, 15-day battery life data measured by Huami Technology Sports Lab: use factory default settings, turn on 30-minute automatic heart rate detection, receive and display 100 notifications per day, 2 alarms per day, vibration for 5 seconds Clock, touch the button every day to display the time 10 times, start the APP synchronization data once a day, 4 times per day bus NFC card swipe, access control card 6 times. And yes, translate is a little off but you get the gist!

Fun fact: the literal meaning of the symbols behind the westernised brand name Xiaomi is actually "millet" hence the occasional off reference to cereal/grain on some translated Chinese sites!
Guys I ordered this from same store a while back, been stuck on "in transit" with royal mail's tracking for 5 days now
Any difference to the mi band 2?
This is the first such device that has pulled me into using it long term.

The battery makes it feasible.

I currently have mine Not constantly linked up to my phone, but using it as a watch and step counter mainly (with very occasional heart rate tests and also swimming mode twice and a few silent alarms), with syncing since at the end of each day.

So I am pretty much using it at its very basic level. As a watch with a constant step counter.

And with what I call very Basic (but useful) Use, My battery is showing 75% left after 8 days use. That's pretty Great.

Change your phone language to UK. Or, if it already is, change to US, then back to UK. That's what I had to do to achieve DD/MM. (Sync the band after each change).

I’ve just had two delivered last week, Chinese versions, when synced they are all good. It has payment options, like Alipay, so might be NFC.
On battery life, and going on a weeks quite heavy usage with usual settings, I’m expecting two weeks from one charge. Charge takes about an hour.
Anyone had this and the huawei pro band 2? Wondering if it's worth the change from that.
$24.98 = £20.68. With AliExpress's rate, it's coming up as $26.98 or £22.68 before discount voucher (if you're a new user). Still a good price!

Interestingly it looks like there's an NFC version of the Mi Band 4 that has a voice control thing. Wonder how much that is.
