The government needs to stamp out business that operate in the way Banged Good apparently operates.

All companies have horror stories. Even local ones.
Disagree that the government should interfere. They should worry about themselves. It's up to the consumer to decide.

ive noticed that I don't care what you have noticed Plenty of banged good horror stories, and I would question if they are paying the correct tax (if any) on imported goods. If they were not, then yes its up to the government to sort them out.

Thought the concern was about reliability instead of Mr. Taxman

Thanks. Not sure how that happened. Have corrected it.
Seems to have dropped £1 in the last couple of days. I still can't decide whether to pull the trigger. I don't want to get stung with taxes.

According to a review it says it comes with the wifi dongle. And the picture on the website says it includes the prop guards

Well this review says no guards but wifi..dunno now:

  • Amazing product!By:Náfrádi László 2017-05-16 06:01:18
  • Arrived after two weeks to Hungary, in unopened, undamaged, double boxing and double safety stickers (Mi Logo). Propeller protective covers are not included, however the manual shows it (4K version). An USB WiFi stick (transmitter receiver to phone) are included, but the manual NOT shows it. Otherwise the drone quality is very good. The first firmware updates needs several reboots (aircraft and transmitter), but when it's updated, all functions works stable. No jello effects and compass problems.

Yeah it seems different retailers include different things. Just repeating what I read on rcgroups forum.
Just found this deal, highly tempted to buy this. It's either this or a refurbished phantom 3.

Nope
Glad you got yours Rapid111111, mine shipped on August 4 and just received an emails saying it is stuck in HK customs even though the tracking says it has passed Singapore? BG are now offering me a refund and 100 points compensation lol?

Have emailed them back as this seems a bit fishy to me, shame as never had a problem with the smaller stuff before.

Anyone else received an email like this?
Original Poster
That's a strange one. Haven't come across that before.
They are now offering to re-send, what is strange is that I have 3 orders "stuck in HK customs" the other 2 are also Mi Drone related items, anyway fingers crossed I get drone number 2
Hi, I also received the same email.
I have asked for refunds and will be in my account in 48-72 hours.
will wait and order from gearbest website
or try again from banggood, with code the price gone down to £ 322.22 and can get cashback of around 19 quid
hmm interesting, I reckon they must not have stock or something? Hopefully it will work out this time, will hopefully share some good news in a couple of weeks
