It's bloody always like that. You wait and wait and wait and price is not going down. You order something and then it's cheaper 10%
Nice for hard floors as most Chinese homes do - whom Xiaomi designed it for. Just don't expect it to work on any carpets with reasonably thick/long pile. It also won't climb from hard floors onto rugs with long pile either.

Otherwise, they're quite nice. Novelty value is quite long-lasting.

To be fair though my Roomba at nearly double the price is the same. It gets stuck on long pile. The Roomba battery life isn't as good as good either. For the price is buy this over Roomba any day.
What's the length of the warrantee? Problems if it breaks/stops working?
Great price for this version.
I'm waiting for the 2nd generation to drop to a reasonable price, and it'll be replacing my Roomba.
Alexa controllable? As in trigger it to start or do an area?

We do both. We've a Neato Robot Vacuum cleaner that goes on nightly then the cleaner comes in weekly.

I agree

Our Neato was £270 and is a lot more basic than this. A Neato with this sort of functionality is around £500.

Plus i'm a Xiaomi convert now having bought a Mi Mix

Probably not directly, could always get a broadlink RM pro though and get it to learn a combination of ir codes, then do something like turn on vacuum. Worked on my old robot vacuum so should work on this, will confirm if mine ever turns up.
Struggling to find United Kingdom in their drop down list of countries??
How do these cope with corners, such as the end of kitchen units where the plinths meet the side panels? I'd like one of these to keep running around the kitchen as it's a main thoroughfare and gets hoovered several times a day but most if the bits of dirt seem to congregate/migrate into the corners and I don't know if this would get to them?
This or Eufy Robovac 11 or one of ilife's on the same website?

omg you either have really bad OCD or you need to buy some slippers or you need to replace whoever is that filthy that makes you need to hoover several times per day.

Every time I hear someone who says they hoover every day I think they are bonkers and a bit peculiar, every time it's a woman too.
Correlation doesn't = causation but there's only so long you can take that stance.

I'm pretty confident your hypothesis would provide a statistically significant result if you applied an inferential test

If you are that lazy pay a cleaner.

You can’t pay a cleaner a one of fee of £200 to clean for a few years 5-10, and only paying the cleaner by charging them with electricity.

Is probably the only disadvantage

You can't have sex with your hoover either, well technically you probably could but wouldn't be the same.

I just changed the currency from the drop-down on the top right corner, from USD to GBP. Then just enter an UK address in checkout.

Ha! I wish!! Not at all, the place is a tip but yes, 4 of us including 2 nearly-teenagers - constantly in and out via the kitchen/diner, and we've got a plain floor that just seems to be filthy the whole time. Got one of those handheld stick Dysons that needs emptied every other day from the amount of crud it picks up, and I've totally not got the patience to do it! So if one of these would actually get all the bits of dust and whatever else it is out from the corners then it would be a godsend. 100% non ocd, 100% sick of cleaning!!

If you have issues adding your address / Country on dropdown, choose Germany then re-select UK , hopefully works for you.

Just waiting on my one from the last deal, £15 dearer I think. Hurry up
Slightly cheaper on Geekbuying, showing as £190.89 from HK for me
Delivery's expensive with Geekbuying! Makes Yo Shop cheaper.

Looking at buying one and wishing I had a time machine to go back to when they were £170.

How do things like this deal with getting in to edges and corners? It seems that my hoover is on the way out and replacing it with one of these does seem like a fun (and surprisingly cheap) option, but it seems kinda pointless if you still need a normal hoover to use every so often to get into the corners once the dust and dirt has accumulated there after a while?

I guess if its not that great for those areas, I could just buy a cheap car vacuum and pretend I'll also sometimes vacuum inside my car, when we all know that I won't. At least it'd see some use though, rather than just accumulate so much dust that it'd need hoovering!

That's what the side brush is for, it allows things on the edge of the footprint to be swept into the path of the vacuum itself. It should be able to deal with a regular 90 degree corner, though if it's tighter than that it may struggle.

Oh damn, that's what I get for assuming free delivery. Even the China warehouse is charging £31.44 minimum for delivery. 3-5 days but still more expensive. What do you get with Yo Shop? A: 6-8 day shipping for not much money
