Great price considering this is shipped from an EU warehouse, so no unexpected customs fees to contend with!

Was very popular on site last time at £10 less from China, and you could be sure customs would be more than that, so I think it's a price worth sharing

Not legal for use in any public place- Government guidance.

Gearbest have not added the disclaimer to this effect that the UK government advise: "It is not illegal to sell powered transporters, but responsible vendors will give customers accurate information about the legal restrictions on their use."

Hopefully they'll be legal soon.

The issue is being studied, but I doubt that escooters being sold now will comply with regulations for legal ones when they come.

I agree. Max permitted motor for ebike on roads is currently 250w and without throttle... Unless they will change rules for ebike too (unlikely).

First reply was from the naysayers! Great work team!

Btw, This isn't as good a deal as the one already posted, where the pro can be had for around £340.

Edit: seems the voucher on that thread has expired.

Pete Docherty , the bad boy of rock, may soon be getting a fine for riding an electric scooter in Folkestone radiox.co.uk/art…th/
In used to have one of these. Very fun way of doing short journeys in bus lanes. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees.

police are always hassling him, you would think he's tupac or a member of the wu-tang clan or smth the way he is monitored by them. i remember them cancelling his gigs years ago when he was living in Gloucestershire because they thought his fans would cause a public order issue. indie rock is apparently on par with drill or grime in the eyes of PC plod.
