For those who don't know about banggood, I bought the same power bank a couple months ago and it works perfect and it's geniune, I also own 10400mAh old version and they both provide similar capacity. The website provides the official link to verify if your product is geniune: mi.com/ver…fy/
Mine arrived in 2 weeks after dispatch, so be patient.

Advice: I would add £1.07 for the tracking number because of the restriction in sending batteries in China, so you can track it if there is a problem and banggood won't have excuses to resend it. £8.88 is still a great price.

Update: It seems like choosing free shipping WITHOUT tracking number is much faster, many people have already received it in a week!

Edit: 6% cashback via Quidco and TCB.

Now £10.48

Now £7.89

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
According to manual that supplied with it:-
* charge time is 5.5 hrs using 5V/2A charger, 10 hrs using 5V/1A charger (both using its supplied USB cable)
* its usable capacity output is 6250 mAh through the end of its USB cable (meaning for a rated capacity of battery 3000mAh in a device, this would charge it 2.1 times approximately when charging at 1A)
- splender

4-Nov: Now up to £10.54 for silver

Email them, they always refund for lost parcels.
Plus its only £0.86 for tracking.

This powerbank is exceptional for the price, unless youve one of the rare phones that can take 3a chargers now then this is the best you'll get.

Quality of the power cells, size, weight, build quality all outstanding.

Many overseas retailers are allowed on this site, e.g. DX, FocalPrice etc. Besides, it's a heads-up on a great deal as Xiaomi products tend to be a cut above the rest of this ilk. Suck it up and enjoy it!

That's why I advised to add tracking number, so you know what's going on. Did you buy it from banggood?
10.48 now
I've been using Banggood for ages but never saw a deal for them on here until yesterday, so have they just been allowed on HUKD or something?

Post will probably get pulled shortly. First banggood deal I saw was the Yi camera. I ordered and the deal was pulled off the site.

Seen a few pop up but also get deleted. They don't pay the mods per sales. Their not allowed here.

Funny that, they pay out cashback (TCB) but not pay this site for clicks/traffic/sales that could potentially generate them huge amounts of business.
any risk of these blowing up?
This was posted abt a month ago, I bought one and in my opinion, it's one of the best and cheap, plus you can pay with PayPal.

Deals that are available to the UK.

By your rationale, sites like Pixmania or amazon.de shouldn't be allowed either.

Why are you so hung up on your incorrect perception of what you think HUKD means?

Personally with these things I always charge them in a fireproof box with a 25kg fire extinguisher close by!
this battery pack is a cut above those pricy ankers. you can't even get it at this price in China. loads of fakes around, I'd only buy direct from xiaomi

This is from the review: The safeguards extends to the Texas Instruments/MPS-designed circuitry inside, and the smart-control chips feature nine layers of protection, covering everything from temperature resistance and short-circuit protection to input- and output overvoltage.

Me too, they are at least as good as any other battery pack I've owned, I particularly like the fact they admit that the mAh is based on 3.6V (like all the others) but they state it on the description, rather than pretend you're going to get more charge out of it.

Mine arrived in 6 days from ordering, other stuff took longer but got stuck for 3-4 weeks by customs in the UK, a bit ironic that it took 4 days to get to the UK, then sat in a warehouse belonging to HMRC or whoever, for 7x as long.

Hmmm banggood , sure mr lemon is waiting for the sister company bangtidy to release some chargers
Fantastic. Cheers OP. Just ordered a Yi from Banggood last week and it arrived ridiculously quickly. Great site.

Ordered a load more items last week as well so hopefully customs don't notice and delay everything.

Incorrect perception ? I had few deals pulled out because of campany beeing based outside of uk - thats what mod said in message ! Tyreleader is one of the best examples - great shop(EU based - not China) with cheap tyres but we cannot post deals from them !
Where is any mod to explain these things ? Shame...
6% Topcashback too. Great deal OP.

Generally speaking, HK/China-based companies are allowed here if they have a business address that passes muster. I posted a bunch of deals for banggood a few months ago that weren't allowed, so I'm assuming that they have either revised their policy on this vendor or a mod has let it slip through.

There is no list, as far as I know, for users to view regarding which sites are allowed or not, but there is certainly no blanket ban on businesses outside of the UK. it simply has be available in the UK, which is why things like BestBuy wouldn't feature here.

Even if this ends up getting pulled, it'd be a shame because it's a genuinely good deal. You're usually paying at around £2.50 per 2,500mAh of lithium goodness. Most non-brand Chinese chargers like this have vastly over-rated capacities and pretty shonky electronics, so this Xiaomi (Chinese equivalent of Apple, some people have said) represents fine value for money.

Ok, I get it and thank you for the explanation but please stop arguing about that. Let's spread the deal, if mods want to delete the post so let them delete it.

Yea, they ask you to check your local delivery office and ask you to wait a week.
After a week reply again and they will process a refund for you.

Ive had 3 go missing from Banggood, not there fault, seemed to have been an issue shipping to my old work addy. Least they refunded me tho.

that isn't unheard of for items from China, had things take longer but also had items arrive within a week
Can this banggood be trusted? Ive seen some ridiculously cheap clothes advertised on there and they look pretty nice too but I just dont trust them.
How can this be hot, if your package never arrives?
I've ordered dozens of items from them and never had a parcel go missing. You would have the same sort of risk buying from a Chinese seller on ebay plus you have the added protection of paypal.
who people can not trust these guys i mean Volkswagen is German but still cheats so now days any one any where can be a little doggy

Dare to think what his opinion on immigration is like.
Bought one of these a few weeks ago for my daughter (plus silcone cover). Great piece of kit; bought from Gearbest UK warehouse for £12.20 (£8 from their HK warehouse at the time), but it's now a bit more expensive.
ordered one of these nearly a month ago and still hasn't turned up

sure it will mind as have never had a problem before. great deal for the money (if it shows up)
