It looks like it is the Chinese version with no mention of Global version or the network bands.

Negative for AliExpress Delivery. Don't post till Three months. Finally when packet finally arrives from Singapore Mail , Royal Mail charges 20% customs . So add 20% to the price and three months or more waiting time.

It almost wouldn’t be the same if there was an AliExpress deal posted without this copy/paste job. Bet you edited your comment to remove the ‘no Band 20’ complaint that’s you thrown on every other Chinese phone thread too. Really Sam, it’s bordering on becoming a meme of sorts around here now. We get it. Thank you for your input.

As someone whose used Ali problem-free before, andwhose happy to wait (considerably less than three months in my experience) and happy to pay customs (but are yet to) this is a good deal to me, so have some heat Mr Switch/ Mrs Witch (it would be awesome if you just confirmed witch already)

3 months to dispatch? Why didn't you just cancel? the AliExpress order and tracking service make it very clear what's happening, and their customer support have always responded quickly and helpfully. I will let you have the customs comment though, I'm not sure yet what's changed, maybe it's the use of Singapore post that's bringing attention to the orders via AliExpress?
Whats up? Its still available...?

Perhaps you felt the work was done as soon as ol' sam posted.
Looks like the Mi 6X is a bit more than I hoped, note 5 I think looks like better value.
Looks like a decent deal to me. Isn't the Chinese version supposed to have a slightly better camera than the Indian version? Saw a YouTube review and was particularly impressed by the EIS function on the Chinese version. Video was rock steady.

Gearbest are advertising the 5 with B20 and the 636 chip at 149 for 3gb and 165 for 4gb version, it says it's global too. But can't see it's released yet ? Camera specs look different, I thought the global was going to be the pro but this looks like normal note 5

why is this expired?

Also it clearly states on the listing that there is no custom duty for orders to EU by DHL. Is this true or just BS?
Wouldn't buy a Xiaomi phone from AliExpress ever again- they are useless at resolving issues.
Avoid!

Its all pretty confusing. The Chinese version is indeed the one with at least a better front facing camera: 20 mp v 13 mp. Not sure about the back one. And I think they have a slightly different chip inside. Maybe I'm wrong there.

Would like to know which version is which and where is the cheapest place to buy the Chinese version as I read somewhere you can change the Rom to English and you just have to "know what you're doing" which at that level means Google.

I thought one time I could swap out a chip on a mother board of an old iPhone and looked up the "know what you're doing" guides on YouTube and the like - to do that you need to have loads of specialist equipment and be really experienced! That's what I would say qualifies as a real know-what-you're-doing. Software stuff like Roms etc is Lemon Squeezey.
